Hello and sorry to bother, but I just enabled the "NPCS can't see through foilage" cause I disabled dead bushes and such and Great Swamps is kinda nutty with the AI lazering me through thick bushes. However 2 audio mods go green in MO2 as soon as I tick the "can't see through foilage mod"

If you have exhausted all options and tried a re-install of the game/mods. The only other thing I personally know to try is to clean install the GPU drivers. Using something like https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html to fully remove the drivers and all their extra bits. Then installing the newest driver package.

A Full GAMMA Installation does NOT remove saves, nor does it mean you are redownloading everything and it won't delete anything at all.
A full install will simply check every mod in the pack, and any that need to be updated will be updated.

To Perform this follow these steps:

Just recently had a weird issue on my Ecologist character where a bunch of the NPC/Guards at the Yantar base are shooting at my STALKER. If I walk up to them they melee me. As far as I can tell that isn't the case. My PC's hardware is far in excess of what is needed to run GAMMA, and it does so without excessive strain on any system resources. This isn't a case of 'webpage loads slowly while GAMMA app is running' or something but rather a case of being able to watch my download speed drop as the app is being started then promptly shoot back up as soon as it's been closed. The behavior can be easily replicated by looking at any of the internet's many internet speed test websites or tools and running one immediately before launching GAMMA and then doing it again while GAMMA is running.

I checked my armor and it has no Faction patches at all. Faction says unkown. When I get back to base some of the scientists inside turn hostile and the professor runs away and turns hostile, tries to punch me if I can get close to him. It does not get any better if I let the game run for a while, no. It's totally isolated to the PC that's running GAMMA, too. If I go in the other room and run network tests on my second desktop or home server rig they all return normal results.

faction relations page says Goodwill is up over 1K with the Ecologists, they are the faction I started with and I have 2 ecologist followers. dunno whay suddenly they are turning hostile or hoiw I can set them back to chilling out.

go into debug mode, go inviside, and go up to some of the guys who are shooting you and in debug menu press F to get info. Look for personal goodwill, if thats very low thats why. You can piss off individual stalkers. Once they're hostile to you you can shoot them without more rep penalty with the faction i believe, just make sure to only shoot the ones shooting at you.

Using a Scar-H with any of the upgrade kits alongside a grenade launcher causes issues. If you swap from your scope, to the reflex sight, then GL, it makes your scope unable to zoom in or out when you swap back to it. Only fixed upon reloading a save OR removing and readding the scope. Stashes are empty by default; you will have to find or get coordinates to actually find something in them. These coordinates can be obtained as rewards by completing quests, by reading PDAs that you can find on the bodies of stalkers you kill, you can even threaten wounded stalkers to get them, before you kill them.
You can also buy them from traders, although the location is always random, so it could be anywhere.

If you enabled ANY FDDA animation, turn them all off.

It's definitely not 1:1 (for example: you cannot dissemble 120 5.56 FMJ rounds and craft 120 5.56 FMJ rounds from what you got from dissemble those rounds earlier) but ammo parts are very light and you can carry a ton of ammo parts without adding too much weight. Meaning you should not dissemble the rounds you want to use. Instead, dissemble those round you don't need and used those attained ammo parts to craft the ammo you need.

I fast-traveled to Rostok to do some trading, and my companions didn't follow me. I toggled their follow mode on, ignored combat, and even gave them a waypoint right next to me. Their distances won't change, so they're not reacting to my instructions. I also don't see their location on the PDA map, so I don't know where to rendezvous with them to get my stuff that's on them. They have zeroed health bars, suspiciously, but they weren't dead right before I fast-traveled. What's going on?

yes i had originally downloaded gamma and installed on / with no issues until i booted up the game yesterday around 8pm i have reinstalled about three times with no resolution

could you go to the anomaly folder and check the size and the amount of folders/files it has through properties ?

1. Open your Anomaly folder, if you have any save files you want to keep, take them from this folder: Anomaly\appdata\savedgames

Hey guys,
I just installed GAMMA - 336 active mods, game starts up fine. Then I disabled #203 (Better Campfire Saves) because I'd like to have free saves available while I figure out all the new stuff in gamma.
Now the quicksave button works just fine, but pressing quickload does absolutely nothing. I also tried a quick_hard_save trick (create a manual save on a button press, then load that save on another button) - same deal, saving works fine, but pressing the load button just pauses the game (exactly like the pause key).
Anyone have a solution for me? Do I need to disable another add-on to fully re-enable the old save functionality?

OK, I re-enabled the YACS add-on and disabled campfire saving through MCM, but the issue still persists: quickload button doesn't to anything, and trying to load my hard save via button press just pauses the game.

you have to load hard saves through the pause menu

quick load only loads the last quick save you made, make sure its bound in the controls correctly and make sure you have a quick save to load

My game crashes after about <5 min of game time. 90% of the time i load in and my health UI is jacked up. If i need to bandage my hands disappear and I cannot cancel it and bring my guns back out. Shortly after I either die or it crashes. Also trying to load last save after that death crashes game

The "quick_hard_save" method I mentioned is one I found as a recommendation for COP Misery. I basically just added these 2 lines to my user.ini (and remapped the old quicksave/quickload keys to something else):
bind_console save quicksave kF5
bind_console load quicksave kF9
This method has worked in all previous STALKER games and mods, including base Anomaly. Pressing F5 creates a manual save file called "quicksave", pressing F9 is supposed to load said save file. Except it doesn't in GAMMA.

Nope, the defaults are:
bind quick_save kF5
bind quick_load kF9

I just use the hard_save method because I've learned through many years of STALKER experience with different mods that the default quicksaves are kind of bad and prone to causing problems.

Or at least they did in the older games. No idea if they're completely fixed in Anomaly. Either way, as I said, the default quickload command also doesn't work for me in GAMMA.

your issue sounds a lot like you enabled the extra animations that you shouldnt have enabled and now you have busy hands

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

Well, as I said, the regular quickload button unfortunately does nothing (after actually creating a quicksave, of course).
Ah, well... this isn't a dealbreaker by any means. Not like I quickload all the time. Just a bit of a shame I can't get this to work when it's seemingly such a simple issue.

Oh - never mind. For some reason, the controls were changed automatically after I changed the ini, and quickload was suddenly bound to a different key. Seems to be working now :).

I've lost a companion whose coordinates is now under the map (checked with noclip), but is not actually loaded. I've used the search in the server and I've seen 2 or 3 other people report similar problems just in the last two days. Of course teleporting and such will not work, and the companion is greyed out. The way that it happens is if you fast travel without the companion. But this used to not be a problem when just returning to the original area where you left them waiting. Now, they enter this weird state where they are "nowhere", and just spawn under the map you're currently in. I haven't seen anyone suggest a fix on the other channels. Has anyone figured something out?

just did the md5 check on the installer and got this message:
