i didn't payed too much attention, but when started to play GAMMA (with the stutter tweaks + mod to fix stutter) today, i was curious how much frames i get as i didn't seemed smooth 120 frames (my monitor is 120hz) so looked at the NVIDIA overlay and my 99% is half/third...etc up to fifth sometimes of what the normal FPS, which means some settings are playing up, in the menu is constant 300FPS but 99% is 70, i remember one of the games did that (Insurgency: Sandstorm?) where i had half FPS and it was some in-game settings or config i had to turn off.
Is there anyone who had/has the same issue?

Hello all. I've had this intermittent problem for a while now. I can't seem to nail down a cause. GAMMA stutters, goes black (with audio still present), and I get an AMD Driver Error. When I boot the game back up, I briefly get the title screen and a note at the top that states "Compiling, this may take several minutes." The video then crashes again with audio only. Restarting my PC seems to fix the issue. However, sometimes I don't have the restart at all.

Well for starters, we kinda pick and choose files from each mod, patch them automatically. Hell, the extraction process is done locally which is the whole idea of the installer, since we can't really package people's work in a ready-to-install zip

Since yesterday (after trying to troubleshoot a Crashing issue) my Loading times have increased ALOT
from 10-30 seconds up to 2-5 minutes now.
Most notably its this long upon starting the game or Entering "new" areas. loading a save in the same area as i am in takes at most 1 - 2 minutes.

i have no idea what causes the long loading times, maybe another note that may or may not be relatable is that my Inventory starts becoming slower as well. depending how much i have in my inventory it starts taking a few seconds to open and Transfering items takes a second as well. worsens the more is inside the container / inventory

any solution ideas would be great

Yeah sorry to cut the convo short- Just to address your latest statement, the installer is very much in beta stage, so it's not properly signed or optimized, so it sorta depends on disabling security measures as to do its job, since it literally has robocopy.exe in the files, and it keeps calling that x3

Rest assured tho, a new installer is in the works, while it will have a bit more telemetry than usual, as it has automatic log uploading so we can immediately help out with crashing lol, it shouldn't touch GP I think

heyyo fellow stalkers. because of my shitty laptop im sadly forced to enjoy gamma on directx 8 - which is fine as im not that much focused on nice graphics and therefore gamma works stable and with good fps beside some minor bugs. but i've realized if i play on directx 8 the grass and also distant objects like trees look pretty shit in foggy weather. ive read that the grass is related to a rendering light bug on directx 8 which makes the grass unaffected by light as well fog.. is there any way to fix the grass in fog on directx 8 and also maybe a fix that distant trees doesnt just look white? the picture shows the contrast of the grass in fog (not a screenshot from me but it looks same)

DO NOT ENABLE any of the disabled animations. These are the root cause of multiple animation loops that can break the game, to the point where you have to delete your current save file.
This bug is called "busy hands", an animation loop that prevents the player from interacting with the action keys, except for movement. This bug can also and especially be found with vanilla animations. Try not to spam them.

If you are still unsure whether you have it or not, try to do any of the following:

• interact with objects or people
• use a weapon (you shouldn't even be able to see it when you select it)
• open your inventory
• drink/eat/sleep
• check your HUD in the bottom left corner

If you cannot do any of this, it probably means you do have busy hands.

The only possible way to, maybe, remove it completely, is to disable any extra activated animation that was previously disabled. You will also have to go back to a previous save where you are 100% sure that you don't have busy hands.

Certified DISABLED animations that bring busy hands:

• Opening/closing backpack and any option related to this
• Animation for skinning mutants
• Disassembling objects with Left-Alt pressed
• Picking up objects where you can see the hand movement

This problem is already known, the zip isn't a FULL ULTIMATE SOLUTION 9000, it's just a way to reduce clogs on Moddb.
The error is normal, don't worry about it, use the installer, you'll get the mods.

I think I found a bug. When you use the AK-12 (2016) and equip it with a tactical kit and a grenade launcher. If you switch between sights and the grenade launcher, your sights will be stuck in the zoom you left it in.

ok. i just wanted to inform you about something i noticed.
After changing away from the DX11-AVX to just DX11 my game runs smoother and loading times have reduced again.
inventory laggs only on ALOT of items now instead of a few items in a stash.
So in case someone encounters this issue in the future this could be a potential fix. at least for me it helped

Don't bother doing it in fullscreen, I found changing the resolution in windowed and then switching to fullscreen doesn't cause my PC to die.

you are missing mods, have disabled mods from the default list, and are missing two of the latest update files. begin with the update

1. Open GAMMA installer as admin
2. Click "Download G.A.M.M.A. data"
3. Click "Only install G.A.M.M.A. add-ons"
