i have locked down what was crashing my game. when turning in the Doctors stuff to Strolok it gives me an "AAM W/ Firefly" only handing that into him crashes the game. im assuming that its trying to hand me something that does not exist or is bugged. so long as i do not hand that in it seems fine. might be a missing artifact? or just broken? never had an issue otherwise.

@outer kraken Yeah the easiest way to check would be going to a trader that sells weapons since not all do. GAMMA disables the sale of guns from traders. If you can't find one you can respawn in Cordon and talk to Sidorovich

hey, figured i'd ask here as well. i have a quest called "Last Dawn: Clear the south-eastern farmstead from Renegade stalkers" which i'm pretty sure is bugged. i'm 100% sure i've cleared every renegade but my quest didnt update and Cold has no dialogue about it. i tried the fix in #╭📖faq but i couldn't find the task_id for it

Something is making your mods not run. Did you check if the MO2 profile exe path goes to your Gamma folder?

Or did you make it go to the base anomaly folder

Yeah a fresh install would be easiest. Just make sure you're launching the MO2 exe that Gamma gives you on install and not your own.

I'm not sure if it's connected, but since I have it, I can't start the game. I don't get any error message. Just a system error sound and I'm kicked back to MO. How can i reduce effectively the population on bases?
I chose Military as my starting faction, at the beginning is ok, no FPS drop on the main base, but after some in-game days, there are so many NPCs that my frames drop as low as 30 when looking at specific directions while inside the base, this happens with the Duty base too,. way to many NPCs.

I had the same problem, Dynamic Anomalies Overhaul default values makes clusters of several anomalies (3~5) to be very close to each other, i had to change these settings in the MCM menu.

A while ago when I first tried GAMMA it had two mods, one made it so you had animations for things like taking your backpack off your shoulder to see inventory the other made it so you had to manually reload magazines. Yea gamma doesnt use all of your memory or stuff. Its a 32 bit so its capped at 4gb of memory and apparently turning SSAO on can help ur comp act use its resources

My connection cuts out every so often and I had to cancel some downloads to force a retry/make progress. I just know that I'm missing some mods and the log (GAMMA installer) confirms that.
All I'm looking for is a way to retry downloading whatever I'm missing.

Okay, so this chat moved pretty quick. I've reset my modlist and cleared my shader cache by deleting the folder, but for some reason, if I create a new char / load an old char, I have no visual representation of the items in my hands. I can still shoot my gun, but there is no gun on the screen. Can't zoom in either. Read through FAQ but don't see anything relevant there.

mostly it just has to not be in protected filepaths, so no C:\Users or C:\Program Files. it's also better if the filepath is short for the installer to work, but otherwise there are no restrictions

it's just that if we don't give a concrete suggestion people freak out and act like it's impossible to have any other filepaths/folders on their computer, so we tell everyone "just put it in C:"

yea the problem is for some npc's spawning them in even with smart terrain logic doesnt have them working. Its a wierd finiky thing that doesnt even have consitancy in how it works half the time haha for some like freedom medic you actually have to spawn at cursor n kind force em into their spot.... its.... wierd
