I'm going to assume you are pretty new to stalker? Each armor has different properties. One of those is belt slots. Armor in stalker is basically a whole outfit, not just a chest plate. Belts are part of armor or they aren't. If you mouse over the armor you can see belts slots as a stat.

Hey so I was weighing my options and didn’t really wanna go through testing it myself so here I am, should I keep all the toolsets I collect versus turning them in to traders? The only reason I can think of that turning them in would be beneficial is to level up the trader to get better repair kits and what not. As finding a specific repair kit for a weapon can be tedious if not bought from a vendor

You should definitely keep one of each tool kit. The others give to traders, or in gunsmith case sell to technicians. You do want to try to craft weapon kits as its far cheaper, even if you just buy the supplies straight from the trader.
as long as you keep one of each of the kits for yourself, you should be alright to give.

Oh crap. This is the one that's actually a tiny little back pack on the hill. The crane fell lol. Look on the hill like halfway down. It's more of a satchel then a backpack and it's basically the color of the ground

After reading this you'll probably ask: "But why are those mods there if you can't activate them?". Because G.A.M.M.A. as a whole is STILL IN BETA, and no, Grok can't simply remove them. Version 1.0 will have a clean mod list.
And you'll also ask: "What about the other disabled mods that aren't under the "Disabled" category, then?". Don't enable them if you don't know what you're doing. Ask in #🔨base-gamma-support before doing anything.
DO NOT ENABLE ANIMATIONS THAT ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT, IN MCM IN GAME OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE MOD LIST, they're disabled for the same reasons written above. If you use them, forget about #old-bugs or #🔨base-gamma-support, don't use these two channels. Use #🔨modded-gamma-support instead.

To clean your "shaders_cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Wizard, I truly understand what you are saying. Now please try to understand me, the minimap button in the menu is not disabling the minimap in gamma. Infact the minimap button you are talking about is how the gamma mod hides and shows it, by toggling that option. If you disable the mod, and leave the button off it should resolve your issue. But you did not disable the minimap by clicking that button.

i would say yes, BUT if you transition levels and you are irradiated the bar continues to go up and you might die on level arrival
also NPCs wander in the meantime and can get killed
so you transition a level and suddenly you got like 5 completed kil quests

To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like a console command.
For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the rest.

slugs have high base damage but low Armor Pen
i read that slugs have better armor penetration than buckshot and kinda the same flesh damage
and no pellet spread, so better for heads
if you want Armor Pen you go AP Slugs

I tabbed out to mention this. When I play full screen I have terrible stutters around fires so I switched back to borderless where I dont have as many issues. I want to play FS but those stutters when looking at anomalies or fires is beyond annoying.

Well... f me. Just updated GAMMA. remembered I had the water shading issue. downloaded the shaders to reinstall it since the one in GAMMA can't be reinstalled. Cleared the cache when launching and now I'm getting a shader compilation error.
I see the "6" key should change scopes in game (or is it an attach/detach action as the "7" for the suppressor?)... anyway it doesn't work with me. I have a rifle equipped with one scope mounted and another compatible scope in the inventory. am I missing something? thanks

You also have the gunsmithing toolkit, which is used to craft ammunition of all kinds and you also have the drug making kit, used to create drugs and medicines.
Depending on the location, north or south:
White stashes have a small chance of finding ANY toolkit inside, this means that you can find ONE basic/advanced/expert toolkit OR a gunsmithing toolkit OR a drug making toolkit.
Green stashes have a 100% chance of finding ONE toolkit from this specific pool: Basic, Gunsmithing or Drug Making kit. Advanced and Expert are random and depend on the area the stash spawned in.

Hey @brisk zinc how would I have to install the SSR if I don't want the Water Shaders. I disabled the one in GAMMA, downloaded the newest 9.1. when installing it I selected install as BAIN because otherwise it'd have the X. then I selected these 3 and chose merge. But whenever I try to launch Anomaly I get the Shader Compilation Error.

To clean your "shaders_cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

Make sure you're not using any extra mods.
Ticking the first Main file fixed the problem. Now let's see if it actually works properly in game also.
