G.A.M.M.A. Full Condition Displayer is an idependent addon or its inside another addon? I cant find it in my mod list, maybe is because of that I cant see items 100% condition with left alt.

So i was watching a playthrough of an earlier version of gamma, and in the version i was watching everything seemed alot greener and more lively. My version seems to be very brown and darker like normal stalker. Is this like an optional environment mod or something that adds lots of nice grass and green trees because i want to know how to get that.

So installed a couple of add-ons nothing too fancy just the snow mod and one to make footprints a but louder and I shut off a few of the gamma mods but now my game crashes whenever I'm shot anyone know why?

I don't know of a faster fix but if you've got all the mods downloaded then just delete GAMMA profile in MO2 profiles folder and put this there instead. This is the default GAMMA mod order.

In the directory where you've got GAMMA data/MO2. There's a folder profiles. Unzip what I've gave you and put the GAMMA folder there, just delete the old one.
Then launch MO2 and try selecting the profile

You mean the lottery guns? Mine personally is an MP7 out of all of them. It depends though what you're going to use given guns for. The most universal one would be MP7 but for killing mutants that would be the .45 pistol. The deagle is a bit meh in my opinion.

Pump or semi is probably ideal.
if semi, then Carabineer or Spas
I dont do pumps often
Carabineer has sight options and a silencer - Spass holds more rounds and turns into auto lategame but no sights
Oh and Saiga, fast reload with mags
those are pree much the best semis imho

but it'll take you till you buy the better cooker etc - so at the start its fine to cook without water
yeah seems, i can make it without, and just drink some water to clear the toxic

So I'm still trying to tackle and learn the repair system as the modpack forces you to do so. I'm getting there slowly, as finding parts is proving difficult but maintaining is easy.
So, I repair a firearm to 100%, but the parts are still busted. What'd the difference between a 50% gun and a 100% gun with the same level parts? Does it just tell you how clean the gun is and is used a parts damage modifier?
Also, I guess low quality parts found in the world are practically useless, as there are no repair items for them?

I can tell the repair system is deceptively simple, it'd the memorization of repair items that make it hard.
if you mouse over the item you want to repair, when talking to a vendor, it will highlight the items that can be used to repair
A fresh gun vs a dirty gun. The dirtier a gun is, the faster the parts will break down. Parts can be repairs to full, even while insdie the gun. Field stripping allows you to repair all parts except the barrel (which requires a specific gun tool kit)
So the individual parts inside the gun can be repaired and not the entirety of the gun (which I'm assuming does nothing to help with damage and weapon jamming)?

Vendor will not repair parts, but sells the items needed for you to do it yourself

If you're looking to make parts repair cheap, don't take any weapon parts that are below 60%
If money isn't an issue, just buy the parts repair kit that restores items at or above 10% to full
and never use a technician, use your own toolkit
@real copper i think by default you just need the right repair tool. as long as its more that 1% i think you "CAN" repair an item.
repair items will tell what their min repair amount is.
I forgot about the weapons part repair kit that caps at 1%. Thank you. That helps a lot since I've nearly 100k. Artifacts seem to be easy to obtain; thankfully.

Tech cleaning is far from cheaper but you don't need to pull together all the parts and equipment you need

Its cheap for the first 10%. Then the cost starts to scale real high
cleaning at the mechanic is expensive. on the initial clean, use kerosine or cloth masks as a bonus
once its above ~60% you can use the cheaper cleaning items
just keep your shit above 85% from then on, is the cheapest way

Hip has a specific model that cannot be overwritten in-game. She's pretty beefy without armor though, but if you're hoping to get her into an exo, I'm sorry to disappoint. As for regular stalkers, make sure you have the mod activated in the modlist

Nato or WP vendors should all have the same pool of items available and only vary based on your goodwill with their faction (should be anyway)
@stuck sun I was about to say, I'll still check all vendors since Freedom had a barrel for my new MP-133. Seems only looting will favor their faction weaponry, assuming they haven't looted another factions corpse. At least that's my understanding
But I'm hoping the factions will favor WP/NATO generally in terms of availability
I'll dig into it a little myself, but so far its working out of the box for me. I just get them into my group open up their inventory and drop the armor I want in there
I just wish there was a way to check which parts fit which weapons without having to haul the weapons around or write down the parts IRL but eh, you can't have anything. Honestly surprised a physical notepad or a PDA notepad hasn't been added as a mod. Would be very useful

Gamma does not natively have a mod that allows stalkers to equip new armor
it is possible to disable scrollwhell changing weapons? Every time i try panic quick melee i end changing weapons..

I understand the pain of 100 stashes and constantly eyeing the carry weight. It's hard to part with anything. It's like having 100 potions in Skyrim and it's a sickness I cannot cure

How does companion teleport work? Do they just need to be a certain distance away or another level entirely. Also, I'm finding companions be a bit OP. Hip on 4 cats basically alone. Barely any damage.

there's an unjam hotkey you can rebind at the very bottom of controls
you dont need to do anything, but if you want to play story mode + warfare you will need to enable a life overhaul and the warfare patch

So I have 2 monolith AKs. One chambered in 5.56x45 and the other in 5.45x39
Tooltip says 5.56x45 has better AP (52 vs 49), but the rechambered mono with x45 does one less point of damage.

Ive kinda hit a few snags on option 1 on the Framerate Optimization channel. Basically ive unticked everything i could but couldnt find R3zy detector Shaders Fix, tried to right click Beefs NVG in the Mod Organizer like it said to only nothing really came up for ticking anything beyond that, and now the game launches from the start screen but i cant load anything ingame due to a problem with the shaders

Hey gamers, is there any way to increase the range of the campfire health regen? My stash in Farm is barely out of range of the campfire so I don't get cozy regen while crafting and stuff 
if you are using a crafting station its pretty easy to move them
I'd just move it next to the fire
you can place your own campfire or stash, but changing the range of the campfire will probably take some digging(unless someone here knows which files exactly have the values)
kinda wish the campfire used the same placement method as the hideout furniture but its just "drop it where you stand"

so for sin, how exactly does their weird protection field work? it seems like volume of shots matters more than AP of shots, I was getting more use out of my MP7 as a lead hose than my AK with AP rounds.

its just a 85% damage reduction. their armors arent the best so any small rifle or rifle FMJ rounds will do just fine

aaah, alright. with the way damage scale on different calibers work I guess that means the better guns to use are larger capacity rifles with a decent amount of FMJ, and not bothering on AP except for the exosuit ones.
still, got like 1200 9x18mm FMJ to burn, so I might as well before I head back

When you visit some place, for example Rostok 100 Rads bar, a green house icon will appear on the map where you can fast travel to that place, but it costs money and there is a time delay between travels, but you can use sliders to make it cheaper and faster if you want.
Are stashes included? Like if I wanted to make a hideout.
Don`t know anything about stashes, but I think yea. Check mod config menu in game, there is some stuff about that

Yes but don't use the vice, it's stupid and useless, you can find the toolkits inside stashes, they're basically portable vices
The vice you pay is stupid and useless because they don't have toolkits in them, meaning, you can't really use them because, again, no toolkits
You'll need to give toolkits to technicians in order to have toolkits inside their vices, at that point is just plain stupid to pay them, since you already have the exact thing for you, for free
Basic and Advanced toolkits can be found everywhere, Expert toolkit only spawn in the northern part of the zone, that is, in Red Forest and north from there
The gunsmithing toolkit is used to create ammo and the drugkit for drugs
Nobody wants the gunsmithing toolkit, keep one, sell the others
Give the drugkit to doctors
Keep the first you find of everything and give the second you find of everything to whoever you want
In order to replace or upgrade stuff in your weapon/armor, you need the toolkit and the repair kit
Check in "Details" by right click on the gun or the armor to see what you need

You can buy a Basic toolkit from Spirit in Yantar for X amount of vodka and I don't remember who else give you that, maybe Hip
And you can craft an Advanced toolkit by using 5 basic toolkit + some scrap metal IIRC, obviously you need another Basic toolkit in order to craft the Advanced

Yeah it's not hard to open your inventory and find you have like 5 of them and forget when you picked them up 
@ionic fog And it sounds like you're early game enough that you have time to build up a collection of weapon and outfit parts along with crafting material. You'll probably find more tools long before they become necessary.

My old laptop with 8gb couldn't really handle Anomaly without enough lag to make it hard to play. Got 12 now with AMD Ryzen 5000 series with Radeon. 800 bucks.
It doesn't run perfectly but it doesn't lag. Except entering Rostok. Custom graphics. Mostly medium-high with lower shadows. Runs smoothly around 30 fps. You don't need a NASA PC for it. Just something mid range; even for a laptop.

@cursive musk What's your normal FPS? Hopefully tolerable. Anything above 20 is doable. After 30 it's a bonus to me; which I get in more sparse (IE dangerous) reasons so it works out well

@cursive musk And have you messed with your light and shadows? That will tank performance. I keep my shadow quality at 0.5, sun quality at low with no sun rays with my SSAO at SSDO (low). I also removed volumetric smoke. That for me was enough to significantly improve performance.

what does it mean when armor says it has a br class of 32?
This comes from my understanding of a seperate game called escape from tarkov, but each ammo has a penetration number when you mouse over its information, armor that is higher than this will mean the ammo will only have a chance to pen, but the closer the ammo pen is to the armor the higher chance of penetration and dealing damage
penetration that is significantly over the armor br will always pen and do full(?) damage, but over penning may do less damage in some scenarios
