To clean your "shaders_cache", don't use the option in the Anomaly launcher.
Go in this folder: Anomaly\appdata, you'll find a folder called shaders_cache, delete this folder and launch the game normally from MO2, using your preferred DX.

you can do missions for duty from time to time to recover the lost goodwill
the loss of goodwill isnt high, its easy to recover from it with 1-3 quests
unlike loners, clear sky lose goodwill with freedom or duty when doing quests for one of them

i dont know the exact lost goodwill, but its really low, about 5-10. while doing quests for main characters gives 50 goodwill and doing quests for random characters gives 20 (i think? never checked exactly)
i would say just do quests for a few days for freedom and do 1 or 2 for duty every few days. you dont even have to keep their goodwill high unless you want their supply level for ammo and others
the game stops your goodwill with them from going down once it hits 0, so they will never turn hostile

well the only way to get weapons in this game is from fallen stalkers, so I got it from one of those, lol yesterday I got a vintorez with functional barrel, bolt and trigger from a military guy in Agroprom 😄
mostly bandits carry older weapons so try to go to places where there are bandits > cordon, garbage, Dark Valley

in green stash, there is always a toolkit, a random one, in white one, there can be a toolkit but its not 100%

Be patient. You can receive stashes coordinates as a mission reward, or from a dead stalker's PDA. Sooner or later you'll find it.

Only the gun condition matter, if you really want to spend money/items for them, parts condition is a thing that only matter for you

That's just engine. Even with 30X0 cards running at below 4k, you get those micro stutters.
Question about ALife when in Freeplay with ZCP. Do Stalkers move between the maps and occupie campfires? Is there a possibility for a Stalker squad to spawn at Cordon and fight their way to, lets say, Jupiter or Pripjat?
Yes, NPCs have their own things and move around the map a lot
Entirely possible to see a stalker on the Cordon and meeting them later up on any of the northern areas

Reshade are like filters you add on top of your game screen. Doesn't actually store anything in the cache.

It looks all rainbow-pixelated-ish and weird, I tried turning off soft water but to no avail

I'm not quite sure but there are two injectors that add resistance to getting shot. Not sure if they help with the blur/dizziness effects though. Never noticed 😅
Only for 'dot stacking'-consumables. Not for anything else like ammunition or spare parts.
Even with the Separate-function it only works for one item at a time.

South western is generic, check there, sooner or later you'll start to hear beeps

Do an opening spiral search, eventually you'll hear the beeps. The mod makes it much better compared to vanilla

Easy thing to test. Get out of the vehicle and find it the normal way. Once the beeping is super noticeable. get back in the car and drive to where you heard the beeps and listen again

expert tools is very rare to find, i think if you do some high reward quest you will get one or if you tweak ZCP to have higher chances to find tools you will find one.

How does the setting Dynamic Faction Relations work in Freeplay? As a Loner if I wipe the whole Rostok base, would they declare war like in Warfare or is the game just rolling a dice after a certain time?
If you kill Faction x enough time they declare a seize fire
If you break it its war again
Also while seize fire you can do Quests for them and up their rep
So you can become friends/allied

I have just been to my fourth stash, deep into Dark Valley, spent ages running around a group of three huge boulders and a tree, was able to low crawl under the middle of the rocks, nothing. Couldn't find it anywhere. Was stood literally right on the stash icon on the PDA map. So right clicked and fast travelled to the container. It was on top of the huge boulder, hidden in the tree branches. Zero chance of climbing the rocks (I tried). How are you supposed to reach stuff like that? Do the ropes have a function here?
Incidentally, four stashes in, zero toolkits :/
All four stashes have had very little content, no weapons, one armor piece.
Am I just unlucky...

I tried for ten minutes from every angle, couldn't do it. Must just need to git gud. All four stashes have been white, and I guess I may be in wrong place then. I have one Gunsmith toolkit that I think I looted off a corpse that the Tourists shot for me. No basic toolkits after 14 hours of playing so can't craft or repair anything. I understand the progression arguments, but this is getting rather frustrating.

Not an addon but Reshade, from addons it's enhanced shaders, SSS and tonemap. But it's fairly complicated if you have no idea what to do. Though you can try different Reshade presets. Some of them can be found here in the server or just downloaded from moddb.
No idea but you could try deleting your user.ltx and pasting a new GAMMA default.

Not really an addon. To activate it press Home button in game. There you'll find default GAMMA presets for Reshade.
You can tweak a lot of things there like colors, bloom, image sharpness and more. Or just download a preset.

i'd highly recommend looking at them, but most options are there for a reason. FDDA for example can crash your game if you activate more stuff

Hello, asking long-term save players, but is anyone having increasingly longer stutters when approaching rookie village from the north? Falco already recommended I change the Alife optimization setting to 1000 and it helped briefly, but now when I approach the town the game literally freezes for an entire 10-15 seconds before it resumes. I'm wondering if its due to loading all the NPCs and anomalies/other entities, since with a rough count I can find around 15-20 loners, and then another 5-6 military down the checkpoint. Game is on SSD and this is like a 60+ hour save.
Also, the crow corpses after emissions are not despawning and some random duty corpses in rostok too... wondering if it'll start happening there...
I know Skyrim also had issues like this with build up of 'stuff', where the solution was to rest for 30 straight days so all dungeons did a reset and any dropped items in the world also got deleted

I cant speak on it, only 60+ hours in and just received the psy helmet as I do a very very slow play.
I have issues in Cordon whenever the military attacks the loners, but it's not stutters, just abysmal fps
and these attacks only happen when i kite the military into them... for.. fun

but yeah, I get the fps drops when I do the 'defend pump station' mission that clear sky gives

the issue is as far as I understand, Alife stutters are highly CPU dependent and every CPU is different - so there won't be a be-all-end-all solution I'd assume
ive had some lag issues before fast traveling to where i was in that video @primal star did you try waiting around where its laggy for awhile to see if it passes? You could also try updating gamma addons, recently i see a mention of lower spawnrates

since it fully replaces the part anyways, u can take it out and replace it and keep the part

If you have the part + the toolkit, you can directly swap everything

So I'm doing the "Escort Ecologist" quest and during the quest an Emisison happens, so I simply find a safe space and wait it out with the ecologist in tow, the problem is that despite this guy being obviously inside the safe spot, he still dies, like, he just drops to the ground with zero explanation as to his passing, there are no mutants, no gunshots, nothing, he just trips and dies

you don't need to manually activate any mods, unless you rly rly want them and take the risk. ZCP 15d is unstable and has issues, hence the hotfixes

I think you can, but it will negate the intended progression of the game
I'd rather suggest you to to MCM > ZCP and add a little chance to find extra loot. this way you wont be showered in stuff, but still are rewarded for looking into all boxes sometimes

I've been finding many unpowered exosuits and grids for them but not powered exosuits. I don't think I can mix the two and Spore only exchanges them for unpowered versions. Am I missing something or just unlucky in finding one
you need to find exoskeletons from stalkers wearing them but the chances of them dropping the exo are low, and you need to make sure you have enough rank points to get them to drop
higher suit tiers have lower chances and need higher rank points
I've been told that there's a package and a stash in the Wild Territory, but even when using the free cam the only stash nearby I could find was empty, and when trying to find the package with the RF receiver and the Lamp artifact it would light up an empty stash with no package to be found in the area.

Took me about 30 tries but I just barely got the right angle and timing. That one is a little tough to get into, especially being in a clearing an earshot from military HQ

I got jumped by three of them after a level transition, had to turn on god mode to get through that garbage

whereas pseudogiants have their own rhythm you need to get into, but it is easy enough to deal with them with minimal damage
My strategy for them is run away
that is a good strategy; their ground slam deals far less damage when further off, and you can just dump rounds into the fecker
I think i toggled a debug button or something but now my PDA map is showing circle icons with everything that is going on there or what is spawned there. Any way to turn this off?

is it on purpose that some weapons are just better than others? specifically stuff like the Sig P226R having 24 damage while most other 9mms only deal 20?
also: Carabiner and the TOZ-106 variants have much shorter range than other shotguns
50 m for TOZ-106, 70 m for Carabiner
while even a regular double barrel sawn-off has a range of 300 meters
and I do not believe this to be just cosmetic/only in the inventory stat sheet; I had difficulty killing a trenchcoat bandit in Cordon by shooting him from the railway bridge, some ~80 meters away, while using slugs

yes
wooden boxes and metal caches have RNG loot, and you can often bash several before you get anything out of them
but then one can give you a military stimpack and a psy-block, so they are worth beating open
if you mean stashes, then also yes
stashes only contain loot if they are marked on your map by default
To get stashes to be marked, do tasks, read pda's, or kill enemies. Further north you get for stashes the better loot will spawn

hey guys! i have logged about 100 hours in that gamma playtrough as duty. I cant seem to find any EXPERT toolkits. This makes me stuck with medeocre gear...

Green stashes have a 100% toolkit inside but that could be any toolkit

There are kits for repairing weapons, not usable under 10% condition. Are there kits for armors which are not usable below 10% too?

Or do you have to repair these armors with parts? Does changing parts increase overall condition? IIRC no, but how else is it possible then to get a 100% armor?
changing out the armor parts at a workbench ups the conditions 💯 %
you only have to do it until 70% for the glues&repairkits to take over though
