I have two pcie with 8 pin on one side and a daisy chain of two 6+2 on the other side. using one cable is apparently not recommended, even if it has daisy chains. my question is: could I fetch the one of the 6+2 pins in psu while leaving the second one hanging there, and the opposite 8 pin in gpu, and do the same with the second psie?

I just don't want the daisy chains dangling near the gpu and would prefer them to hang out in psu area instead, but I don't know if such magic is allowed
