That's cap. As much as I love and adore Gamma it definitely doesn't look better than Stalker 2 running in a new industry standard engine lol. There's for sure a vibe Gamma nails but we've barely gotten a real look at Stalker 2 gameplay and the instant modders and reshade tinkerers get their hands on it there will be no contest on which one looks better. UE5 is multitudes more robust and capable of practically photorealistic visuals with the right assets and lighting. It's impressive what has been able to be achieved in Gamma/Anomaly but this engine is stretched to its absolute limit and often at an extreme cost.

Actually, it's vanilla Gamma with no reshade. But stubled upon a way to make it look like this by going into the weather editor (F7). After it rains, change time to 17:30, and partly cloudy. You'll get similar results. No reshade. 😉

Maybe someone can figure out how to make this color patterns perm. IDK....

just reinstall aydins grass tweaks and use spring settings for trees and grass

the setup I use, uses SUMMER grass and trees, not spring. my reshade just blends and uses a lut to make it greener and lush, settings wise I use height of 1 and density is a bit high and render is 130

The shots were made in vanilla Anomaly; the props, trees, buildings etc are mostly from COP I suppose, I had to add some of the textures from my level editor dir (I collected as many old SDK source material I could, and copied into its directories, that's why I don't know exactly what are these from; COP is my best bet). Most of the trees aren't looking that good, I try to select the better ones. Anyway, they still have a very old school feeling, that's why I want to keep them yet and not add any new fancy stuff

Honestly for me, a gun freak it's amazing. WLTR have mods like DUS which adapts many weapon parts from EFT so you could build very nice guns. Other mods in this pack makes it more like EFP. Desolation is still WIP for sure but I'm having a blast while playing these. Recommend

Theres no way to replace static objects in the levels unless you recompile them

A lot of these are CoP tutorials

You should start making test maps for CoP

its easier than for anomaly and once you get better mapping knowledge

you will be able to make maps for anomaly

It takes a couple of months but it did work out for me

Even though modified SDK exists

It doesn't have all of the features like vanilla SDK has

So you have to use the broken SDK for certain situations

i call it broken because it is very primitive and can crash if your map is very big and detailed

Use a modified SDK that has all of the vanilla features of it

64 bit is mandatory

You can also use hybridxray which is way easier to use

It doesn't have all of the features from the vanilla SDK but I use it everyday
