I find that in DX8, it is better to turn down grass to minimum because in some instances(fog), grass looks black and can't distinguish stalkers at the distance. I still have to try some winter texture mod, might look even better than other seasons.

Yea Hippo absolutely nailed it with foggy3! And Weather Expansion for Atmospherics is a good addition to this too, especially if you play no clear or partly weather. Makes the Zone look like a really dangerous, dark and yet beautiful place

only thing i can give as a little feedback is clear weather which need a little warmer tone

i like atmosr but i usually disable the ambient light

the bloom is enough

if its a little much, which it shouldnt really be but just in case, let me know i can generate lower quality ones
