here's what i had done, i stopped a few weeks ago bc i got bored of stalker in general lol, keep in mind that it isn't plug n play, since there's a lot of things inside those files (compat for more guides npcs?/ xml spawning edited meshes from gusnlinger npc rework/ azetrix npc pack/ i also changed names of some .ogfs so its probbaly gonna crash your game xd)

basically, it's better if you start from your end from 0, instead of using this, bc you will spend more time figuring out what meshes i declared and what i removed

Finally figured out adaptive DOF in reshade, turns out the gamma reshade was missing some preprocessor definitions, adding them corrected the issue

I've been playing some SoC Lost Alpha these days and this screenshot was taken in Cordon. The place looks entirely different then what we're used to, and with lots of vegetation. I didn't know if I'd like it at first but I've come to love it to be honest, it's very reminiscent of the Stalker film with the high grass everywhere and the more swampy look

Game runs considerably well even with all that vegetation, I don't think that would be too possible in anomaly though (at least on my specs)

@tall sand Weather files have sun_shafts_intensity and sun_color attributes, maybe that is what you are looking for. Values less than 0.1 for sun_shafts_intensity can give you tasteful rays without overdoing it for clear weather. I'm not sure you can have strong volumetric sunshafts not wash out the colors (I guess this is what screen space sunrays are for).

It really depends on your preference, some locations like the bar looks cleaner than the low res textures vanilla has. There are lag spikes sometimes, fixable by loading a save. From the few locations I've explored I like it, it gives the old locations a face lift

Not a screenshot but some advice, if people want areas and nights to be darker, there's a setting under tonemapping you can adjust, minimal allowed lumscale ambient. Putting it to the lower end allows for more pitch black darkness

Two comparison shots. The first has default tonemapping settings, the second has minimal allowed lumscale ambient adjusted to 0.4

It makes a major different at night as well. If you consider your nights too bright while the moon is not out, try it.

First shot is with the lumscale adjusted, no moon. Second shot is with moon
