Since it can be done with repetition you take the amount of states it can be to the exponent of amount of items so even in a 32x32 square you can get insanely high numbers. So since binary has 2 states and the square has 1024 sections you get 2^(1024) which is... like 1.8*10^308. Now it'll be less in a qr code due to structure but an insane amount still
