it is literally +1 additional slot. If I upgrade it there is no 6th slot added though. And if I double click on some artifact in the inventory it doesn't put it on the belt but replace my currently equipped artifact

Look for it. its everywhere. two mags from skeefs pistol can take them down. ot at least if you get yourself in a hallway you can make them run with it before he even gets to you. You also have the option of running away and despwning the buttsuckers early game.

On top of that you can get a cracker extremely early on if you explore.

It's a game. If all weapons would be same effective, why even give multiple weapons. In S2 weapons are tiered, which is good thing. You get Dnipro > Kora > AK and Kharod > GP36 > AR411

One more thing, the point "ahhh you can get a weapon of mass destruction early on if you go to that specific corner of the map and find an invisible stash" is not relevant, most people won't do this. As i said, most people will fight with the stuff they have available like viper and AK, which at release were horrendously inneficient against the bloodsucker or boars or whatever. I remember it took a huge magdump from Glutton to kill the bloodsucker that appears when you loot the gun.

And then do that over and over and over and over. potentially hundreds and hundreds of times.

hey if you need extra performance i highly suggest you go into your engine.ini and change ambient occlusion to 0, mine was at 3, i had like 40 fps or worse in areas with buildings, now im getting over 100fps. its solid.

also try installing the spf optimisation mod as it has lots of ini edits that help. https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/9?tab=description I downloaded the second version as its extra performance with no input lag.

you can try balancing the rad removers and rad generators using unleaded slots, 2 weak = 1 medium, 2 medium = 1 strong, 2 strong = 1 maximum. but its better to just wait for a suit like seva ssp99 or the exo suits which offer 4 leaded containers. fill them up with your worst rad generators and use the one unleaded slot for a radiation reducer.
