I mean, these numbers should be accurate, but it's mostly pointless knowledge
What isn't pointless knowledge is the fact that helldivers take extra damage from gas

Why
Ok, specifically
Helldivers take 30% extra damage from gas, 50% less damage from explosions and 50% less damage from fire, by default, no armor passives
And it appears that it was that way since launch
Oh, wait, scratch that
On release we had no explosion resistance 

It's just that fire deals a lot of DoT damage
Still die if a single ember gets on your shoe
We only have 125 health
Flame res already does well enough in my experience
It turns being set ablaze by a scorcher from "oh god oh fuck" to "I will kill you first and then I will put the flames out and still be well enough to not heal yet"
Fire does 150dmg/s
With 50% fire resistance we take 75dmg/s
With 125 health we die in 1.6s
The math is mathing, it does check out
it should take like 4 seconds to die to fire imo
i mean, people caught in house fires sometimes survive despite being in there for upwards of 2-3 minutes before escaping
and we are also wearing armor that isnt flammable, but i dont think that helps
titanium would get hot and burn you

It takes 6-7 seconds with fire resistant armor
Also bear in mind that we put out the flames by just initiating a jump

Any pump-action shotgun becomes semi-automatic when you fire it, through constant reloading of rounds and subsequent firing.

heavy flamer, unironically, able to deal with every enemy in the Horde
Using the desert stormer armor set to take arc damage from harvesters just so I can torch them
There does, however, seem to be lag spikes and I've been taking unexplainable damage and deaths
For more atmosphere, it was necessary to use medium armor from the Helghast and take a gas mask with a white metal shield, for more atmosphere of wielding a large flamethrower.

My Deep Rock Galactic ass keeps pressing tab expecting I can bring up a list of lobbies to join in when I forgot its Helldivers 2 and Retardhead couldn't implement something so simple to add

From the moment I landed to the moment I extracted I was constantly in combat without me even trying to fight everything because one fucker saw me and more just kept coming
I was spotted once and it spiraled into 42 minutes of constant running around
don't worry my poor shovel jockey, squid planet unlocks tomorrow
I sure hope the spawn rates won't be ass but it's the squids we're talking about and they were always ass 
If someone ever thought I have no problems with the game - the squid front has all of my problems and it's the reason why I didn't play them that much
And lack of enemy variety wasn't one of those problems
There's gotta be something different with the cremator, it takes out heavies way too quickly
My specific issues are how the voteless patrols will spawn either directly behind you or right around the corner and be instantly aggro if you're already fighting something, and they also have almost no specific audio cue of their existence or the fact that they are aware of your existence, which both bugs and bots do have. Watchers also will appear directly behind you out of nowhere even though they do have specific sounds to warn you about their existence but they go fully silent when investigating for some reason so they will just fly to sniff your ass and call in reinforcements without you noticing until it's too late. Another one is just my personal skill issue cause I really don't like the harvesters but they are easy to avoid cause they are big and loud and their accuracy sucks most of the time.
Also fleahmobs run through walls but that's the smallest issue for me cause they are not even a real threat
Like the bots sing their silly marching song when they patrol so it's easy to know they are there and in which direction specifically, they also have a distinct audio cue when they spot you and every heavy unit also makes specific sounds so you can identify them without even seeing them.
Bugs also make distinct sounds on patrol and when they spot you and when they turn aggro, you can detect patrols by pure sound without checking the map and heavy units also are easy to detect by sound only
Squid patrols don't really make special sounds and you will only know they are there if there's a harvester with them or if they have overseers who have already spotted you cause they do have a distinct audio for that
Voteless themselves don't make different sounds when they are on patrol, standby or when they spotted you and they tend to be very quiet and blend in with the ambient sounds
Pretty sure they don't even make footstep sounds
I'm also pretty sure that on bugs specifically there's an audio cue in the music itself when there's a patrol walking by?
Like, there's this specific sound that plays when an unalerted patrol is near your position and I think that's pretty cool 
In all my recent sessions, I never got swarmed by voteless in D10
The voteless horde is p fun. The autocannon works wonders for once
I kinda wish that Arrowhead had a public testing branch. So many issues with the game could be solved with a "proving grounds" styled test enviroment.

can definitely say that since the illuminate lack plenty of ground units, the matches fill it up with increased harvesters and exomechs to fill up the ground attacks

imo diff 10 should have other modifiers as well such as maybe reduced ammo spawns and shit like that , not just heavy spawns over and over

Thankfully squids seem to not even have eradication so it's either tower defense or blitz and sometimes the 3rd mission is just normal

I've been running around on the new map and I'm feeling a bit bored. It wasn't as interesting as Cyberstan or Oshone, it felt kind of... Soy. The only thing I enjoyed was grinding absolutely every enemy into a homogeneous mass with the minigun.

Brood and Alpha Commanders trigger AT mines and they have light armor at best

You are basically making a choice; do you want your flamethrower to be maximally effective and rely on your team for utility and cover.

u can pretty much solo a reinforcement wave if u manage ur ammo carefully

They are also WAY to fire retardant. Cyborgs should have a lower threshold for ignition than other automaton units.
