The dominator is good, stun locks them essentially. Most ars don’t need much, shotguns basically one tap them at tongue range

Those pellets won't do you any good. You'll kill enemies with exactly the same number of shots, and the pellets disperse over distance. To gain an advantage, you'd have to shoot practically point-blank, while all firefights are conducted at a relative distance, 5-10 meters. And the most interesting thing is, you don't get better stopping power just by using more pellets; the "crusher" would be better in this regard, since all the damage is concentrated in a single projectile.

Had an argument with someone on another server with the minigun and we eventually settled on that the gatling sentry is pretty much better to use

Gatling sentry pretty much a minigun without you having to stop moving, sacrificing yourself and wasting a reinforcement and having to wait for that dumbass sway to settle and without having to be constantly ragdolled around. Also it doesn't have recoil so it can shoot at longer ranges better than the minigun although we'll see how it'll perform in terms of accuracy and recoil

Sure it's stationary forever, but it has a short cooldown and because of the game's retarded coding, will also attract enemies. Just like how the solo silo did before
