are you sure mission had hellbomb as a strata? sometimes it isnt
It doesn't matter
Most of the time the Hellbomb appears when you need it
Even if it didn't appear in the mission stratagems
Like for example on my previous mission, where it wasn't included as a mission stratagem, but still appeared
Yeah those missions have been fucked for a while, no hellbombs for me too
and I've used explosive strategems but those buildings are built sturdier than bunkers
Good thing that Alt+F4 resets the mission without failing it 
I've noticed that the issue tends to happen when there are free stratagems to use
Like right now, when everyone gets a free jump pack

I've came to a conclusion that Tremors is a positive modifier

And in terms of bots, so far I've only seen walkers and tanks ignore it

To be fair the hatred against normal mortars is fine IMO, as that thing is a god given ability of friendly fire galore when doing bugs due to how nature of things works
But yeah the EMS mortar is absolutely awesome, if the user knows where to place them and the team knows how to manipulate it to their advantage

Just that it has some pretty abysmal turning speed so you can't cover wide angle
If a charger doesn't aim for it and you occasionally look over it in case it's getting overwhelmed, Tesla is basically immortal

The only funny thing I have with it is that sometimes it can decide it really wants you to die
Arcs electric far beyond its range and still kill you

I almost kinda wish HMG had enough penetration to just pierce through charger leg or head armor tbh
That is ultimately its true weakness outside being swarmed
Though i guess it'd be far too strong then anyway
It's only issue is that it shines best if you can make some space between it and the swarm you shoot at, since being further away means less turning to switch targets at distance

i think our d7 mission last night just spawned hunters in such speed from nest that we just couldnt keep up with them, there was propably closer to 40 of them with a titan

When I'm using the Incendiary Breaker I try my best to avoid my teammates and most of the time the reason why I ignite them is not because I made an oopsie and shoot at them, but because they just didn't care to look where I am firing
There were also situations where I noticed my friend is about to enter my line of fire and he also noticed he was about to enter my line of fire. So I tried to aim somewhere else, while he tried to avoid my line of fire, which ended up with him entering my line of fire again
With Arc weapons the issue is slightly different, because they really like to just target the closest entity in their line of fire
So all it takes is one bad movement from either party
A regular weapon is more forgiving

or Orbital Precision. Slow as it is to actually hit, it does a great job if you can anticipate the target's movement

As far as I'm concerned the Gatling gun it's equipped with is weaker than the HMG sentry
But yeah I'm not certain of the mech position in term of power

10 minutes( I think? Been a hot minute since I played) between cooldowns

So by all means you have one mech you can, or rather need to use 10 minutes before predicted extraction time
Since most if not all mech players save their 2nd charge for extraction defense
Often best utilized to escort your team through a patrol heavy route or doing objective that spawns breaches, either way still need more field experience to really value it further
I was gonna say this lol, my smoothbrain imagines it'd be better to always have an exosuit for extract
It certainly helps since with an average operator they can almost basically solo 75% of the entirety swarm coming , and blast down any titans while they are at it
When I'm doing with my duo, I tend to let him deal with chargers
So I can focus my rockets on titans
the peeps I've been playing with seem to value mobility over everything
they'd rather bring EAT17s than Recoilless, and only fast-acting stratagems
Of course, even on mech, hunters are an absolute priority to kill over everything else because they are the first gear to sewing chaos. Remove them from the equation and swarm is far more manageable
With Spewers on 2nd priority
It's been working surprisingly well at difficulty 7
It depends, hit n run tactic where you go in full blasting and dipping out is a strat as well definitely
Especially not having to rely on support weapon if and when you die
Ultimately depends on how the partners you work with playstyle is
I personally favour area control and defense, and like to choose things like sentries, tesla and HMG
Very satisfying when I get an autocannon on high ground pummeling shit from extreme distance
And deleting any stray patrols, covering a wide area to control
Could make a run comfortable, but ultimately it's QoL, most teams can work without the need for them
I swap between more mobile getups with fast strats and auto/EATs and more static with RR, turrets and the like
I only ever really take things like eagle airstrike and all the hit n run setup if I feel like carrying tbh
Since a perfect eagle airstrike + autocannon easily wipe heavy nest in under 10 seconds
Perfect for when I need that ego boost

Otherwise yeah sentries FTW

Own a LAS-16 Sickle for home defense, since that's what Super Earth's founding fathers intended. Four Automatons break into my house. "What the devil?" As I grab my flowing cape and laser rifle. Blow a golf ball sized hole through the first bot, it's dead on the spot. Draw my LAS-7 Dagger on the second bot, miss it entirely because it's one small beam and nails the neighbors dog. I have to resort to the autocannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with armor-piercing rounds, "FOR SUPER EARTH" the armor-piercing round shreds two bots in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel set off car alarms. Fix saber and charge the last terrified rapscallion. It bleeds out waiting on the SEAF to arrive since triangular saber wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.

... having tried the sickle i must say it does not feel that great
I tried it last night and I kinda liked it
almost zero recoil
but the charge-up time to start firing
and the lack of hit marker to confirm whether I'm even friggin hit the target

and it overheats pretty fast if you're not in Extreme Cold
this is also what i felt
The fact that it doesn't fire immediately after I pull the trigger kills it for me
But I remember using it on Extreme Heat and it still overheated slower than I expected
It's still a meh gun for me, I need more bullets
yeah it's definitely a huge downside
spot an enemy
it's starting to call for backup
can't kill it fast enough
the firing delay is not that much of a problem but it didnt felt like it was killing very fast ... compared to shotguns
and its becomes worse if you dont want it to overheat
So far, my favourite weapon from this WB is the Arc Shotgun
Because it's funny
And it doesn't feel like I'm wasting a primary slot on a meme weapon
Plasma Punisher is also good imo
But the projectile is slow af
And it's more of a specialized weapon than a general purpose gun
The Sickle is ok, but it'd rather take the Liberator or Lib Pen instead
Simply because they fire when I pull the trigger and not one second later

And the pistol laser is... eh, it exists?

as soon as the grenade launcher pistol comes out that will be the gun
I don't really see the reason why someone would take the laser pistol over any other secondary, other than maybe because of the heatsink's ability to give you infinite ammo

I was curious because I know you can kill a Charger with the FLAMMENWERFER if you burn his legs for a moment, and Titans are also not immune if their top armor is destroyed, but a completely healthy Titan doesn't seem to be affected

That said, what I tend to do is if there's a nearby fabricator or what used to be one
I call the hellbomb nearby it's foundations

Even if it didn't land directly on its body, I personally found it has been able to kill the titan nonetheless 85% of the time though
So long as it lands directly under within its body range
Even scoring double kills at times for titans
Still, I found it to be consistent enough that I favour it for that use case
Especially with the stun nades at the moment
Since they can lock the titans in place
