As I usually only have one duo dedicated to play with basically majority of the time, that's where my balance experience tends to revolve around to be honest

I will say that the more intensified swarm is very easily dealt when you have full hands on deck on a full squad for certain

Even with randoms, by sheer capability of distributing aggro and 4 separate hands working together to thin the enemies out

For me and my duo, we went from

Casually getting 30 green samples with other stuff and vibing along the way

To hell on earth getting pressed from all angles

I'm still trying to devise a better build for a duo party

Out of all the anti swarm weapon I tend to prefer most, Arc Thrower ended up being first

Stalwart is immensely nice but the lack of armor pen is definitely felt when facing hive guards

If the flamethrower was realistic, it'd be big, bulky, slow you down and have very limited ammo, but be literal death to all bugs.

as it stands, it's death to everything other than bile titans, and that's only cause it can't reach too well. i think I'll live with the short range, would need to suck somewhere else if it got more.

I did play it with 2 of my friends tho and at first we decided that each one of us should do one silo to get the mission over with quickly

And I was the only one who managed to actually defend my silo alone

And it didn't even get damaged (much)

Get an EMS Mortar and some anti-tank for the bigger guys and you're basically set

As long as you don't damage the silo yourself, it shouldn't be problematic

I'm very confident that I can solo it with minimum headache

Which is more than I can say about researcher rescue or eradication
