its 9.3, slow (subsonic), pretty maneuverable above 600kph but below that it turns into a brick. Performance >4km is pretty terrible. It gets AIM-9Bs stock and AIM-7Cs spaded. 4x Browning-Colt Mk.12s with shotgun spread stock.

It also bleeds speed like nothing else in a sustained turn so that 600kph thing can become relevant very quickly.

Personally I'm not a huge fan but i've gotten one or two decent games in it.

not bad. VFM5 gets scouting, good mobility, but beware of heavy machineguns.
Tank engines have some kind of accelerating and slowing down noises that dont get affected by the "my engine volume" slider, therefore get pretty loud when everything else is relatively cranked up. VFM5 if I recall didnt seem to have those, however the sounds are kinda annoying on the Vickers 3.
Both have fixed 10x gunner optics

Is researching modifications for lower tiered vehicles worth it for high tier RP?

in the example it'd be 20% of 230k RP so around 46k additionally but I don't really know if it's tier dependent
