But yeah P-38s are good but a decent pilot can negate one at almost every turn due to the nature of the game mode

It's not really a plane that makes me go "oh no I've gotta prioritize it"

Too many people don't know it's speed sweet spot so they overshoot and compress like absolute hell

Also the YP-38 is dogshit don't bother with it

The XP-38 is pretty good tho

The E and G have been slowly down tiered over the years so they're much more palatable

The L is about what you expect, a heavy fighter that gets caught by late war interceptors

I just wish they'd continue downtiering the F7F so I can ball out with it like I did with the Ki-83
