made for working class tattooist.
its not about elevating your status, fame, uniqueness, recognition..
its about being a tattooist, in real life. not insta.
getting in there, peform, and execute a clean, good, solid crafted classic desing. that was made to last in the skin

stuff like neo trad, new school, realism.. is very much about your prove of skill in the enviroment. witch is okay also.
but different styles, exists because of different reasons.

Also not an animator, but imho the movement when they pull the mag out from their suit is a little too fast? It feels abnormally quick to me, like if that part of the footage was sped-up. Same with the very last movement after inserting the mag into the gun, when they hit the thing on the gun it also seems way too fast, both the action and the transition into this movement after the mag has been fully inserted

Mostly not an animator, only just started really dipping my toes in it, but so far I'm agreeing with everything said above- aside from the slapping, the "missed the mag insert" isn't super noticeable and pulling the mag from your belt does feel very instant.

I haven't gotten around to doing a reload animation myself in anything just yet but when I was working up towards it on a recent animation I was looking, particularly, at Battlefield reload animations. Specifically the 'rare/joke' ones since they aren't quite as quick as a proper tactical reload, but they aren't super long either.

It's slow as shit because I didn't hide the environment (it would render out way faster and smoother) but it's the first time I've ever tried animating a weapon at all and I was relatively proud of it. Not nearly as polished as yours, and obviously no reload which wouldve been the next step.

yeah, it can be tough, but good thing is you can just chip away at it, unlike other skills, 3d modeling doesn't rly fade over time that much, so you can put it in the sidelines easily if you need to focus on other stuff

I've never used an asset, as I'm currently learning, each project of mine is a learning experience that just wouldn't hit the same if I used assets

That's exactly my view on scene building. make everything you need and learn from each object, whilst building your own asset pack at the same time.

apart from characters as i can't get my head around that it's not my thing nor interest

it's really different, at least for me, there's no exactness, you just sculpt it till it's "good enough" but the workflow is really powerful and still would be useful for a hard surface environment guy, like for example I sculpted the wood, boots and gas mask , this stuff would of taken me a lot more time to make hardsurface than by sculpting

I think you should learn to draw (perspective and other basics), but also learn 3D to speed up the process. Personally, I'm not very good at perspective, so I compensate for it with knowledge of 3D. And even if I were very good at it, doing it in 3D is faster and easier.

I tried to recreate the atmosphere of abandoned places I used to explore in Ukraine when I was a teenager.

I was just thinking that it was some abandoned waystation. Very Eastern Europe feel. I'd love to explore a place like that both irl and in a game. If you ever become a level designer for a game and it has that same atmosphere you put into your renders then I wanna play it. I can easily see something like a sort of Silent Hill inspired psychological horror survival game.

Running from Baba Yaga. Or trying to find her.

Mash together Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Stalker. Or Metro. And Metro. All of it lol

I plan to make a game similar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but with more hardcore mechanics, moving away from the usual recreation of post-Soviet countries. I draw on CSP, it works mostly fine I guess, I have to use it though, because before I used IllustStudio, which is the precursor to CSP, it's the only way I can continue my previous unfinished works because the file format, and at the time IllustStudio is no longer supported so I was running into a lot of issues with compatibilities with newer windows

I think the clip is universal for painting and graphics

I like that you can edit the line. You can't do that in Photoshop, so you have to adjust it manually if you want to make the line thinner

but it's more enjoyable to work on concepts and large illustrations in Photoshop. In my opinion, it's more convenient to sort files there. Plus, since it's primarily a photo editor, it has a variety of useful filters, such as distorted perspective.

It's the best thing for concert art

Finally finished my exoskeleton for my Merc I play at Stalker Larp events. Every 3D printed part is designed by me except the mask. Not a 100% recreation of the original exos but I tried to keep it similar enough to make it recogniasable and still usable. And don't mind the ecologist patch. On the next event the character will be hired as security personnel for them and therefore I already attached the additional patch.
