To avoid the despawn your Scavenging skill has to be level 17 or higher.

Instead, in order to loot an outfit or a helmet from a body a certain rank value is required. The requirement is almost negligible, rank value as small as 10000 is enough to meet a rank requirement for any equipment.

Ecolo is easy mode. Just go around doing tasks for every faction, try to max them all out, maybe even pay so you can do tasks for bandits. Loot everything from every stalker group killing each other. Never have to worry about spending money on meds or ammo or armor or anything. Just make sure to carry anti mutant guns, which again, can be as small as a cheap shotgun. In the long term, Ecologist is the easiest because there is zero effort involved.

I follow Sam's guide:

1. Spawn Swamps. I recommend a 9mm SMG.
2. Take the Scanner quest from the trader and the Ecologist escort task too, and the Renegade task from Cold.
3. Go through secret exit, grab scanner immediately in the grav anomaly. Then you can flank into pump station and clear it. Renegades have a really high chance to drop the TOZ 194 for basics. They also have a high chance to drop an SKS.
4. Do the ecologist escort, return to CS Base.
5. Turn in all tasks, you'll get meds and cash.
6. Either walk to Cordon or use the guide. Then trade the TOZ for basic tools and then you can repair the SKS enough to have a trash blaster.
7. Finish Last Dawn by killing the second renegade camp and the military, getting the gunkit
8. Then go to Doctor, then go to Agroprom Underground and grab the drugkit.

Why the fuck does disasembling ammo give so little?
0.9.4 gave adequate amounts for each bullet like but in 0.9.5 it's giving me single digits of EVERYTHING for taking apart batches of 15 or more.
It also seems like the amount required to craft ammo is still the same which is fucking nuts. I'm been playing and taking apart shit for 8 hours today and I have like 250 green powder where I'd probably have 800 or more in 0.9.4
