@limber adder To unlock every faction from the beginning, you can type greh/renegades/isg/z when you start a new game in the character creation screen.
Since this sound strange, I literally mean "TYPE WITH YOUR KEYBOARD", you don't have an option where you can type in, like an actual console command.

For example, if you LITERALLY WRITE on your keyboard isg, and then you open the faction menu, you'll see the UNISG icon. Same goes for the other factions.
Another good example, ever played GTA? Do a "GTA cheat" in the character creation screen.

I’ve started saving all those that are over 50% durability, but not sure if there’s any use for the really damaged ones (I know you can technically repair them, but I feel trying to save the specially damaged ones would be a waste of resources)

Yeah it doesnt work like that sadly. Guns accepting attachments is entirely determined by whoever made the gun and if they gave enough fucks to create a model for every single attachment. The engine is old and there is no modular attachment system, for a gun a new model has to be made for every possible combination of attachments and the game just switches to that viewmodel....

both are fine. the mosin uses the same parts as many Type C/D snipers. similarly, the ADAR uses Nato parts that are often the same as many Type C rifles
