i think it would be better to reserve gradients for roles that you earn (e.g. Devoted Sensei, booster role, raid roles, special event roles, etc.) on the server rather than roles you can opt into

sorry i meant like is there an announcement channel for banner updates. They're the ones with the megaphones - discord let's you follow them. Like if I want to forward news about banners with my own community, my community will see the upcoming banners and we can talk about what we're excited about. I source multiple gachas, TCGs and anime studios to do this with and wanted to add blue archive, but the #student-info channel doesn't have re-runs and the dates of the banners, which would be super duper helpful

New students are coming up soon like Niya and Nagusa, Wildhunt is also coming up with its own students and we don't know what else is going to come up on next fest.
Also there have been many hints of the 7th Prisoners as of late which in my mind this implies there may be something big coming up soon related to them (Maybe they release Akira or Akemi ) and we will need a lot more spots instead of just a few every now and then.

Creating a new server comes with benefits:

• Instead of cycling between 5-10 under used emojis every time, you can make more space by sending a lot of the old emojis (maybe half of them) to the new server.
• The server wouldn't need moderation of channels. No need to be afraid of Mr Beast again
  Just add 1 or 2 blocked channels with information about the server, an invite to the main server and the list of announcement when new emojis are added or removed. Only a couple of moderators are needed to maintain it.
• Nexon doesn't need to use resources to promote the new Discord server. It would only be advertised to those already in here.

Something that I’ve seen servers do is add a role during onboarding that says “CAPTCHA: DO NOT PICK THIS ROLE” or something similar, since bots who join tend to pick everything they can in onboarding. But this only works for new joins and most of the Mr Beast scams are normal accounts who’ve been in the server for a long time

The interesting thing about this scam is that it’s not instantaneous. You have some malware sitting on your computer and not doing anything until one day it decides to give away free money
