Here is a list of changes that 2K should have implemented:

Fix. The. Cheaters.
Stop. Lying. To. Us.

This should be the top priority. A competitive game cannot thrive when players deal with exploits and unfair advantages.

Remove or fully rework rhythm shooting.
There is no reason to introduce a mechanic that doesn’t function consistently. It was advertised as skill-based, yet fails to register properly. Players are punished with forced misses despite correct input, even when wide open. If it cannot be reliable, remove it entirely.

You also claimed to fix the “Late” glitch tied to rhythm shooting, yet button shooting still suffers from Early/Late inconsistencies since early access. Shooting should be precise and predictable, not something players fight against.

Remove the slingshot mechanic.
This system reduces the skill gap by rewarding poor timing. Performance should not be artificially boosted for casual play. Players should improve naturally. Being in a passing lane should not guarantee a steal without proper timing and positioning.

Reintroduce original affiliations.
Sunset Beach, Rivet City, and Old Town gave the park identity, competition, and community.

Bring back the original reward system.
Rewards should feel earned. Mascots should be locked behind Legend status, and MyPark rep should return to reinforce long-term progression.

Restore real competition.
Offense should not rely on repetitive moves. Dribbling should require skill and creativity. Mid-range fades should have a smaller green window due to difficulty.

Improve defensive balance.
Heavily contested shots should not register as open or go in consistently. Defense needs to matter. Ankle breakers also need a rework—minimal movement should not trigger them.

As of now, I will not be touching any 2K game, and neither should any of you. If we keep purchasing this game, they're gonna keep going with it.

worst teammates ive had in a while first off, the sg had about 3 wide open 3s i dished to him with "LEGEND" dimer and missed all of them, purple plate btw. Other guy on the team was playing ring around the rosey on our teams center and his room temperature iq couldnt figure out how to stop it. other people on my team just not giving me the ball when i was shooting 100% from the field aka not feeding the hot hand and chucking up smothered 3s. But what I really find funny is how 2k groups up the worst people imaginable and only puts them on my team, but always the other team is full of people who never miss a day in their life. This is the type of stuff that makes the game unenjoyable and painful to go through.
