also it's especially not worth it for me as a PC player since they said there won't be crossplay between PC and consoles, and one of my biggest complaints was the long wait times to get into games on PC (partially because of the smaller playerbase, but partially because they do that stupid locker room bs, where there could be 1 guy waiting in locker room 1, 3 people in LR 2, 2 people in LR3, 4 people in LR4, and they COULD put all those people together and make a game, but instead everyone just has to sit there and wait, and LR4 will probably end up getting an AI instead of the guy waiting in LR 1)

Yeah it's only PC playing with PC. And because there's like, a ton of different modes (Rise Park, Elite Park, Beach Courts, Rec, Proving Grounds, Pro-Am, Theater, Stage, Starting 5s), half of them are basically dead and no one plays them, and even in the other ones you've gotta wait a while, especially at higher plate levels

I actually hated getting to MVP and had to derank my builds because I had like, 30 minute waits for a Rec game as an MVP

Actualy Id say centers are probably the safest. Depends what modes you think you'll mostly play of course. But rebounding & defense are allways usefull &... while personaly I find it scummy if your not playing against another big in 1v1s post scoring can be REALLY effective.

just make sure for all that is good you at least have a midrange jumper. It's real hard to play when you can only score from real close

It would be fun and majority of people I would say 25+ have all played basketball IRL. There’s pro am teams that have actual coaches who are semi pro. This spam dribbling is one of the many reasons why this game is terrible. If you haven’t played 2K in the glory days you can’t speak on it. I’m not talking 2K19 or 2K18. When 2K used to be about actual grinding and actual basketball. When they used to bring in actual players to perform basketball animations instead of computer generated ones taken from videos. No point in saying all this cuz if your response is pick up a basketball IRL. I can already tell what kinda person I’m dealing with.

2k 26 has some good stuff on YouTube now from “Community Day.” Even the builder-which is completely different and a bit complicated, but it works.

Faster dribbling and movement. Bigs are definitely favoured, much faster. KD is OP basically.

I think 25 had the best badge system, and decent balance with smalls vs. bigs.

26 just scrapped all of that and started again. You still have rhythm shooting but you have bigs now with access to higher shooting attributes.

The green window is not variable anymore. The size will fluctuate, as usual, but if you hit anywhere in that green, you’ll probably make the shot.

Previous years for a long time had variance on the edges-hence more need for “perfect” timing. Which is a much better idea I think.

Keep in mind the PS4 version is only included with standard version. Yes you heard that right.

its funny how its also always one way.. I have played players several times in a row where they would quit mid-game but somehow never get banned for it.

banning for leaving is stupid in the first place.

is like in 90% of the time after a timeout or quarter all of my standard matchups get switch (center on pg/pg on center etc). Is also something I never see with my opponent, or how the opponent AI will never randomly run around like headless chickens (no settings).

But of course Mikey boi won't answer question about this behaviour or scripting in 2k26..
