Hello guys! I read a ton of reddit posts and forums about my problem, and I did almost everything, but my online matchmaking is still unplayable sometimes. I rerun the shaders every time I start the game, I lowered my quality setting to medium, so my RAM usage is 2370mB/8000mB. My internet should not be a problem, because other games (EA Sports FC, F1 2024, GTA online) are working perfectly. Anybody had the same issue? I experience this lag 8 out of 10 games, and I've been getting 120min bans very frequently cus I have to quit these unplayable matches.

Then Patch “V7.0” dropped. No warning. No honesty. Just vague notes like “addressed off-ball movement” while my slasher became useless overnight. Now I’m missing wide-open dunks. Momentum’s gone. Quick Drops don’t even trigger. My favorite part of the game? Silently nerfed. This ain’t about losing a few games. This is about losing faith in a game I loved. A game that meant something to me. A game that took my money and then changed the rules. And what hurts even more? Nobody’s really talking about it. Slashers like me are just supposed to accept it. Like we’re disposable. Like our playstyle isn’t valid anymore. 2K—why would you do this without telling us? We’re not asking for perfection. Can’t block shots or play defense - you can make a new build without wasting 100 dollars for a build and grinding real life time to play to not function at a human intelligence but ai and rng. Spending cap breakers that you grinded for and can’t even move around. You use the caps and it doesn’t work GAMEPLAY wise🤣you gotta spend an extra 100 dollars or 1000 hours playing to be remotely decent

I buy this game on discount im excited to play i used to play in the past. i play offline where i manage a team and the fricken rotation timeline and player minutes doesn't even work and its apparently been a problem for ages and in past games. seems like a easy fix that a patch can sort out.

Instead i cant even have a good realistic experience for example i wanna play a vetran in my starting lineup but have him on low 20mins and only play him in crunch time and you cant even do that. The game does wahtever it wants with subs

Whoever doesn’t think there is Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA) in this game is just oblivious man. I can’t tell you how many times I blow someone out by 15+ in 1v1 and then I immediately get matched up with them again and the algorithm is completely against me. The opponent goes from not being able to hit anything to now hitting contested shots, every rebound goes against you, every loose ball goes against you, even things like out of bounds/clearing the ball can go against you. It’s insane bro

just make it at 7'1, max out the wingspan, max out the speed and vertical, drop the block to 84 (or go 93), and increase the pass acc and it'd be better

Depends. If you're someone who likes to post up and work down there, 84 could be good to aim for, but again, if you don't think you'll have the opportunities to do that, just go with the minimum as long as it's at least 73

Everyone is tired of sellers and lost game connections affecting people Colors and Records…

Sellers/ People Who just don’t care to win:
Option 1: have a voting system to have all players in game vote for someone to be an Ai/Computer
-Everyone on the teams has to vote Kick out or Bench
-Person being kicked out or bench will not lose color or effect record unless they quit.

• Losing records should have more impact on match making not the build current status.

Option 2: People get kick out of games due to server or lost connection

• Bring a Call of Duty system, were if you were kicked out or lost connection … your allowed to rejoin with out effecting your record or color
  -Allow those who get kick or lost connection , it won’t effect there Player status(color) or there record because of something dealing with the game not there internet.
• if people exploit that buy quitting, then implicate a system if you quit more then 3 or 4 times a season you’ll be banned for 2-3 days or 24hrs due to the exploitation of getting out of games bc you don’t wanna play or not playing good or getting sold by ONE person on your team..

Making the game fun for those who actually care about the game and there records to thrive more and those who don’t take as seriously will be exposed to the greater good of the community..

Hey all, getting back into 2k after 4 years off.

When I try to do quick crossovers with the right stick, i end getting one or two crossovers and then my player goes for a jumpshot...

From what I've read, you need to use right stick for a lot of the shooting animations. Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm not sure exactly what motion you're doing with the stick, but that sounds very similar to the Go-To Shots they added this year. By holding the right stick up, your player will perform a Go-To Shot, which is typically a few dribbles into a shot. This can be cancelled out of, or shot out of, and can be very useful overall. If you're curious about dribbling, try to go into Learn2K. In there, the dribble sections tells you the controls for all of the moves, and lets you practice them and tells you exactly what you did, if you did something different.

Gotcha. Yeah that's the controls for it, to spam it, you may need to cancel a hesi first. So it would be something like, if the ball is in your right hand, then flick up left, flick left, flick up right, flick right, etc. Not sure if that will give you the results you're looking for, but that's my first thought
