i will not deny that there are some folks who are shooting very well. what i will say is that there are a majority of folks who are shooting poorly. people who do not have a wired connection and a high refresh rate tv/monitor are the ones who are shooting badly/inconsistently. you may be one of the lucky ones who isn’t affected by these issues, but most are affected. these problems should be fixed.

if 2k fixed the issue of the cue not matching the timing for all players, then everybody would have a great time.

it doesn’t make sense (and frankly it’s not fair) to go 40/40 from 3 on HOF difficulty in mycareer on the same visual cue and then to go 0/9 using the same cue online

First off. How I pay 75 dollars and get ban. Because I quitted before the game started? You shouldn’t have it so restrictive. People keep picking the same team every category. if you ever played battleship you would know you have to say a number and letter to hit a point and potentially hit a ship. 2k shooting basically says, if you keep saying B6, sometimes the ship will be there and sometimes the ship will not be there during the same game of battleship. you’re not allowed to move your ship yet sometimes the ship won’t be there regardless. do you get what i’m saying? the ship either sits at B6 or isn’t at B6, there can’t be a scenario where it is at B6 for the first few mins and then goes to another point afterwards

I adore the PRO-PLAY mechanic. I like the fact that I feel like Luka, PG, Kawhi, LeBron, Jokic, Curry, De’Aaron Fox, etc. I like that the perimeter players can not only benefit from it but it can also give players a different feel to the players they are using .
My only concern is why isn’t PRO-PLAY compatible to the all-time great bigs. Where is Hakeem Olajuwon post move animations, Tim Duncan post hook, Kevin Garnett post (shimmy) fade animation, Patrick Ewing post fade animation, Joel Embiid post fade animation, and Kevin Mchale post move animations?
It makes no sense for the past 5+ 2K’s, all-time great big men have been given the same BASIC post move animations. They don’t feel different from one another because they all have the same BASIC post move animations. There is no reason for Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett to have the same post fade and hook animation. They do not play (or move) the same in the post.
I really hope to see an expansion on the PRO-PLAY mechanic when comes to the big men. It makes no sense for Joel Embiid to have the BEST post hook in the game for the fourth year in a row.

This is the most stupid game ever. You start off my career with the worst stats. Somehow you're supposed to bring those stats up by playing games when your stats already are straight trash.

How are you supposed to get credits when the credits are based off your performance in the game and your stats are trash so your performance is trash in the game.

All 2K wants is for people to buy those credits online and spend more money.

You're right, it feels like the constant changes to the shot bar over the years have really killed the game, always having to practice new shot patterns to cope with the inexplicable changes

2k22 to 2k23 was alright because it was learnable after a while even in multiplayer, but why they completely changed the shot timing again after they made it in 2k23 is beyond me

They could have just added "normal" shot timing like mike wang wanted for current gen and everything would be cool but instead we got to relearn for no reason

my concerns for nba 2k24: the entire reason i started playing was seeing that sweet green bean, now i’m shooting terribly because “we wanted to make the game more realistic” it’s a video game mike wang if we shoot better than steph curry with an 80 three pointer doesn’t mean you make the game like real life, it’s not fun. another thing is i understand the sim nation thing but it’s a VIDEO GAME it was more fun when it was arcade like and making the game realistic with these perfect green windows takes away from the casuals experience. i’ve never been bad at a 2k but when this game dropped i literally lost my interest in 2k simply because i’m missing wide open because there’s a 15 millisecond green window. i might just be yapping but the game isn’t fun how it was

I was wondering if rebounding takeover (specifically 'see the future' on current gen) received a nerf since the past couple 2ks. I remember playing 2k22 and 2k21 where there was only 1 rebounding takeover and it let you see where the ball would land as soon as the ball left the hands of the shooter. Can someone please explain to me why passing is so bad in this game? Everytime I (or someone) passes the ball, it drags them into a bad position to score the ball or when I’m wide open at the mid-range area; I’m pulled to the three point line. It very infuriating and it doesn’t make sense.
