it can’t even get my online inventory in the first place so i doubt it actually added the jersey i won to it

i’ve also been having this bug where 2k half the time doesn’t tell me what i win from daily chest

it just leaves me to guess what it could be, and i just have to HOPE it’s a gatorade or attribute boost or else i’ll have to go on a hunt for what i won.

i found someone else with my same issue but they’re not a switch user and it was 4 years ago. also all the solutions mentioned i’ve tried or can’t do.

i’m contemplating redownloading the game but i don’t wanna risk losing my builds, and that’ll quite literally take hours

@lament aspen Sorry couldn’t talk in the other channel bc of slow mode, but for some reason I’ve been having this issue where I can’t change my characters clothes as it says “failed to get online inventory,” I also can’t see my animations as it says I don’t have any, but when I go to rebuy them in the animation shop it says I already own them. This stops me from selecting, deselecting, and viewing my animations, but I can still see these animation packages (the ones already selected) active in game.

I also cannot go into any stores because they either won’t load the items to buy, or it’ll crash and force the application to close

I haven't played on switch but I have loaded up 2k on different Xbox consoles. If it works the same the 2k account should bring the saves with it. Sometimes it breaks some stuff (in previous years) like created shoes but it should bring the builds back in.

If you think you'll lose the build. I'd say screen shot the attributes and anything you think support would want. Then you can submit it with a ticket int he worst case scenario

Sometimes people contact support to try to bring back deleted builds. From what I remember they're pretty strict on when they'll compensate something being lost. Have to have proof of what was lost and how. Definitely consider it small chance in the worst case

No problem. Ran into it myself switching between consoles a couple years ago. Thought I had to ask for my builds back but for some reason it just said the files were bad but once they were opened they worked. Support asked for screenshots of things missing and I realized the files just needed to be opened first when I went hunting for proof. Totally get your worrying about losing it.

I used to only play Nintendo consoles too (Gamecube and Wii). I remember how hard finding info for stuff can be, especially for sports games.

Ah ok. I forgot they want pictures. I'd say try to do pictures from another device and let them know that the way the game works on switch the screenshot requirement creates another issue. It seems kind of obvious but people miss things like that all the time.

If you can I'd say give them the bad screenshot if it will take it. The picture being bad should be the quickest most obvious way to show not being able to screenshot is an issue. There's the option to dock a switch and show on a tv but if the game works on switch lite I don't think those have that as an option

@rotund night make sure if you’re trying to shoot 3’s they’re not too highly contested (i usually aim for like 30% or lower, 20% or lower is rlly my sweet spot) and that your 3pt shooting ability is good enough for it. additionally, you might want to put some shooting badges towards it

if you’re missing layups, also make sure they’re not too highly contested and that your driving layup and other finishing-related stats and badges are up

i definitely recommend bringing your difficulty level down to rookie if you’re struggling so much

you’re only 70 ovr. you need badges, shooting improvements, etc to have a bigger meter

remember 70 (no offense) is a lower ovr (you only start at 60). you’re not gonna be able to do a crap ton like other players can at that level

I just have a question, in nba 2k23 ps5 club 2k, the goal is to give double badge points for players who might want to get their badges a little quicker, why are opposing players who already have all their badges able to also play in club 2k. I’m a new player to the nba 2k series and when I want to get earn my badges quicker I can’t because there are players who are in their high 90s and have all their badges taking over the courts and i Just don’t see how it is fair, I feel like there should be some restrictions in the event for club 2k. It’s no Love in the REC for Centers, Some point guards; 2-4 positions as well via Randoms. I’m learning the gap between just gamers and actual basketball knowledgeable players. From the floor spacing, floor reading, and defensive assignments. That self stat chasing, trash the whole vibe. For the Point guards you have people trying to run the offense and be out of they role; via the game situation. If you 0-4 from 3 pass the ball; assists until your flow develop, and defensively interior defenders no matter the Flava it’s no love. So Rim hunters out power offensively. But standing dunks success rate lower than driving dunks…like how…

i went 7/12 from 3pt because of that when it really should’ve been at least 10/12

probably plummeted my 3pt rating from 77% to like 70 (i was right)

They're similar but parts of the build system for your player are different. Current doesn't have replica builds and doesn't have tiers for badges. I don't play current gen so I don't know all the differences.

I thought current gen didn't have the badge tiers with the increasing prices and having to have 10 points applied in a category before being able to use tier 3 badges.

No it's on top of that. On next gen we have badge tiers. For example say I make a 7 ft Glass Cleaner Center. At that height rebound chaser is a Tier 3 badge. I have to use at least 10 badge points combined on Tier 1 and 2 badges in Defense and Rebounding to start applying points towards Rebound Chaser (which will start at 5 points to equip it at bronze up to 8 at hall of fame). When I make the build I have to be sure to have at least 15 points in defense and rebounding to do this. (At least when the game first launched since extra points didn't unlock being able to allow this, but that was addressed/patched).

A Glass Cleaner would have more defensive badge points than that but the least amount is what's needed in any of the 4 categories to use one of the 4 badges the build will have at tier 3.
