The collision physics in 2k in the air needs work. You shouldn't just be able to push someone out the air with no call in a 5 v 5 setting. This happens alot in rec.

Wanted to address the PC discussion and give some insight from a business perspective on why it takes time for sports games to make the transition on PC's vs. console. I can assure you, this isn't 'laziness', in fact, this has been the case nearly every single generation - it normally takes a few years to see this change occur. Here's a big reason why:

As much as hardcore gamers buy new consoles or super high-powered PC's, most players do not own the biggest/brightest tech out there. When looking at what gen to put on PC, you have to look at the player base, and what capabilities their hardware has from a minimum spec perspective.

So let's say to run the new gen you need a much higher spec'ed PC, you may cut off 30-40% of the PC market, who is able to play the game at min-spec on older gen. Usually after new consoles come out, there's a big uptick in players improving PC's more casually, and games that have yearly iterations base decisions like this on the percentage of players on PC who meet the min spec threshold.

I know most in here are hardcore players, as are most of us, so this can be frustrating, but PC is vastly different than console, where everyone is on the same machine. Therefore, you have to base decisions on where the most amount of players can play. That's the business side of it.

Try this... It might be your keyboard or headset causing it, I think.

Open Device Manager and then in Human Interface devices, disable any "HID-compliant game controller" that isn't the one you are using. If you go into "Play Now" when you select a side, you'll see your controller is not "1". when you disable it, 1 will disappear. now restart your game and your controller will be 1.

Good evening, the question of the selection of players for network matches has been tormenting for a long time, the problem is that I play mostly alone and constantly get to squads of 5 players, while my teammates 1 was 75ovr the other normal, and then suddenly we added 2 bots 85ovr, and the waiting for the match was a maximum of 7 seconds, I even quit I didn't have time to get out of the lobby, what is the reason for such a selection, this nonsense is already boring if I play without a team all the time, then bots get into the team, then players with low IAD, where is the game balance? Does anyone know why on New Gen, builds that are 6'5 and up with the correct dunk rating and vertical can use LeBron's dunk style but on old gen, you cant be 6'10 or over?

You need to fix the shot disruption around the rim. When a 7'3" centre puts a layup 1inch from the rim it's not going to be stopped by anyone. At the moment opposing players can disrupt your layup or dunk FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RIM!!! That's just laughable. The game is becoming unenjoyable. Also the interceptor badge is way OP. Please fix these asap

i finally tried myplayer, where its explained, but in other game modes you get that icon too

i notice they all have different icons, and its something to the effect of a player being on fire.

never worked on mine sadly, i tried figuring out what made it work for him but never came to any conclusion (other than 2k devs being incompetent and not fixing a type of bug that shouldn't ever be in a game made after 2010)

Interior contests seemed to have been buffed which is good but it doesn't feel like it's because of interior D. What I mean is even if it's a guard with low interior they will make a high close shot miss because of this phantom barrier. Feels like it's always to far I just wanted bigs to have more control over the outcome of bad interior lays but if im 6'11 and the defender is 6'7 I should be able to finish. Now every contest is missing and it's not because of the stat.

I respect the fact that Interior Defense was buffed. I’m glad to see reckless rim-runners and paint mashers get punished for forcing up bad shot against a competent defender. The only issues I genuinely have is the return of “Ghost Contest” and rewarding smaller players (w/low interior defense) with a miss against bigs. I have no issue with Interior Defense being buff but at least make it reasonable. It makes no sense to miss a layup because a dude jump at the opposite side of the rim.

Has any one had the bug on PC where you cannot move during a game in neighbourhood? I can run to the court but once the game starts im stuck. Keyboard and controller don't respond

I've only played a few games so far, but on early returns, gameplay feels much improved with whatever hot fix has happened with Paint D and CPU logic on backdoor cuts. My AI feels much more aware of backdoors when they're in good position (and, by contrast, you can still take advantage if they are pulled out of position by a user) and that's a much needed improvement
