Q: What changes have been made to post defense?

A: Post fades and hooks now use a different set of contest logic than normal shots. The new logic better simulates how shooting out of the post is in real life and puts more of the make vs. miss on the shooter's ability to time an inherently more difficult shot. Defenders will still want to get a hand up or jump to contest to make it tougher for the shooter though.

I don’t play current gen so it’s a little bit different but I think having a taller build helps because if you get stuck on a pick you can prevent the roll and defending the paint because just a little bit of contest can make the center miss

Also on offense you need to become a good shooter, as a 3&D don’t expect having the ball much, you will usually sit corner and often do cuts it really depends on how your team plays, if your point guard is a facilitator he will try and find you open and cutting is a great option, or faking cuts to shoot open 3 pointers, if your point guard is a isolation scorer you will usually sit corner waiting on a open 3 shot after a switch on defense

If you are hooper status... On game feedback, please suggest seperating jersey #'s from the Rec and Mycareer, We should be allowed to wear whatever jersey number we want in the rec without having to deal with the number being taken because of what team you're on.

Need as many people as we can get to constantly ask Mike wang if the new dribble engine will allow us to drop people completely to the floor. Like sit your defender down or the court or make them fall flat on they face. Was my favorite aspect of 2k and the fact that HOF ankle breaker doesn’t drop people and we gonna have all this new dribbling is a deal breaker for me

Like HOF or even gold ankle breaker should completely floor defenders at a fair rate. Nobody wants to see contact dunk clips all year we like ankle breakers too I wanna see someone fall on they back when I trip them up off a dribble move, not stumble and they still get back on defense

It’s super hard for me to learn how to dribble

Because the animations are canned and not as fluid, last time dribbling felt good to me was in 2k22 but top tier was 2k19

We been dealing with canned animations and barely any court space to move for 2 years now. The court is bigger and the dribbling is more dynamic now in 2k25. ALLOW US TO FLOOR PEOPLE, IT HAPPENS IN REAL LIFE ! .

I hear so many people complaining about lag in 2k. It's laggier than cod with way worse graphics. They gotta fix these servers and I'm not buying a $200 monitor just for delay my Wi-Fi is perfect but 2k servers suck
