I've been having that problem. I'm pretty sure the game accidently registers that move as a "struggle" move like Jake's bite or Bugs' heart stun kiss thing. Whenever a player mashes, they seem to be able to escape or just not get hit by it for some reason

Like give him his cheeseburger backpack with some snacks to heal him or allies, let him summon spike balls to smash enemies with or a shield bash or charge with thorns on the shield... I don't know, he's just kinda meh

Marvin's not a mage causea lot of his projectiles got mad cooldown with some cracked out CQC tools to boot so he ends up playing more aggro then most of em.

Character that has given me the most trouble is probably gizmo

He’s so short so side air is difficult to connect

Samurai jack works exactly like Jason

You have to dodge at the exact time he does the side special

And if You Dodge it correctly

He's exposed

You can combo him

Also rage mode is inmune to almost every single attack of him

And the fully concentrated side special can also be countered with rage

Even if it's not fully charged

With 10 of rage You can counter a lot attacks from him

And he works exactly the same as jason

He's very agressive but if you Dodge correctly his side specials You got him
