jason kills stupid early and bag throws them to the edge from center stage and from everywhere else he throws them off stage and against most of the cast you have time to pop armour while they're still bagged in air
it's not like super combo crazy but it's still pretty damn good for setting up his early kills and forcing your oponent into a terrible position

You could try using anti-projectile perks, but if you don't want those, then your neutral special will help tank them for you. That being said, if they have armor break moves on half their kit, then that's worthless.

I don't mean that he should be played as a superman, but I'm talking more than anything about the kind of character he is, something that Superman and Jason belong to the same, even though he's a tank it doesn't need his attacks to be quite slow, Jason has a serious counterattack problem, it's almost impossible to punish most characters with him.
Now that Agent Smith is out, you'll be able to see how Jason is useless against him, as most of his attacks are far superior to Jason
The character needs most of his hits to be used to punish players who make a missed hit, because if not, Jason is quite vulnerable to everything as he is now

If dodge was less spamable I think Jason would benefit a lot. Other characters have a much easier time reaction punishing dodge but Jason has to get a read. You cannot reaction punish dodge with Jason at least I can’t on WiFi if you guys can let me know what move you use because it’s not f-air
