Not true. Flash light is far too slow. Unless they use something overly lag(which most character are able to act of moves faster than velma), charge time for flash light isn't ideal to try to cover the whiff option

I mean I was having a bug with Finn earlier because I was having to complete a weekly and it was to deal special damage with an adventure time character, I went to the PPG rift to fight and spam the bag spin on him which I did 200 damage on each stock but by the end of the match it was 69 damage overall and then I switched to Banana Guard to try the same thing and I got 70 by the end of the match when really I did over 200 to him

So I gave up on the weekly cause I was annoyed

I don't know if I will teach something to anyone, but I find out today that disabling vsync decrease input lag. With vsync on I had between 5 to 7 frames of input lag, and only 2 with vsync off

I've found that if you up air them when they try to land on you and then jump and up air again you stuff them. Then you just repeat the cycle until they stop.

Combos are pretty consistent tbh. What percent are you using them?

CD Book should always be available for you to use. It has good momentum for slliding and leads into kills at like 80% if you land it. The hitbox is kind of generous as you extend your arm out.

At 70 It's Fast Fall CD Book> Jump > CD Book in the air > Up air. If you are fast enough you can honestly shutter bug and that kills.

But you can't hesitate the window is extremely tight.

And if I cant do the 2nd cd book I just do the full auto combo

Alright I see the main problem, I think I over complicated things. So to explain in a easier way, the first line give only the essential informations, here is an example :

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER
21f/52f
Your move will hit on the 21th frame, or if you whiff you will be fully recovered (so able to throw another move or dodge) on 52th frame.

and the second line breakdown informations (kind of like the sf6 framedata jauge would work, separating everything)
2f/19f/hit/31f
First is the 2 frames of input lag, second the 19 frames of your move start up, then the move hit, or if it don't then you have an extra 31 frames before being fully recovered

the second line may seems useless presented like this, but it actually gave you the data on how many time you have if you whiff before getting punished

You could use the platform perk with it too they don’t really expect it so they try and hit you so if they miss there’s a chance it catches them

What is really annoying is when my opponent gets some "dodge" effect and they don't hit a dodge button at all on my move. It's quite annoying.

THey have pretty decent knock back which is actually really good in 2's for disruption. Velma's projectiles hit someone and they are able to act of out if immediately. No crazy knock, hit stun or nothing

Trying to make her work is literal fustration inducing

So we get a 60 second cooldown on book but Marvin gets like 10 on basically all his moves

Velma was literally only designed to be played in 2s its why she’s bad in 1s

And I get the game was designed around 2v2 but they could try and make her tolerable for 1s

And she could give her teammtes gray health at the start ofthe match by canceling the jump in the arm run move. Which they removed for some odd rason but other characters get to cancel moves in the game
