So for Batman's air down special, stop him with ground up special projectile if you have it. If you don't, then move away and wait for the dodge cancel. You'll get used to it with practice.

marker perk gives you free stage control that the finn will struggle to play around
and be conscious of when he tries to go for the 0td, di out and down gets you out of a lot of his setups for it
if he whiffs backpack be conscious of your punish options, you can often times kill him at 0 for even trying it

The best way to fight him is to use gauntlet as opener and a bait and follow it it with dash attack
He will use projectile block on 90% so you get free damage and opener. When you do it try to push advantage as long as possible, try to not let him play his game as long as possible. He is much weaker in the air than on ground.

it's just from my exp especially :
- Steven : i rather put Steven on +1, because i won against him more often thnx to garnet shoulder bash so it kept her more flexible and faster
- Jason : I won't sleep on jason because sometimes i got loop combo from jason side jab -> side jab -> down attack then repeatly until i got about 40-60%, and i had be more careful when i'm in the air because Jason up attack and up special have great knockback
- Finn : because you put him in +1, i think i need more learn match up against him, it's just really difficult to approach and predict his movement because finn's side jab has long range

Honestly, taking a 2-3 day break can be a huge improvement to your game.
Especially if you are just learning something for your character.
Sometimes, it takes a little bit of time for our brain to properly pack new info away.
Taking a small break can help your brain create those neural pathways to create the muscle memory needed.

My play cycle for this game goes something like; play casuals for a day to brainstorm/try new things > play a few casuals and hop into ranked for an hour or two, trying out what I've practiced, going back to casuals the rest of the day to refine > warmup in casual, full day of ranked to really lock in what I've learned > casuals, followed by hopefully something different besides ranked, like a Custom Room on someones stream doing KOTH with a bunch of monsters > 2 day break with low stress monkey brain games and youtube brain rot to really set in that early dementia

1: MAKE CLAP MORE CONSISTENT
Clap is one of her best kill options... that we have to fear everytime we use this. I've lost games from the move not connecting fully. If I hit you with the first hitbox, the second one should naturally connect.
2: Reduce endlag on miss for DTilt/increase uncharged speed and distance/decrease startup
Just make DTilt a little less risky to throw out, as it stands, the risk/reward isn't skewed well in Garnets favor for anyone with a pulse outside of a dodge read. Buff this button up and I will use it so much, leads to amazing damage if up special is off cooldown.
3: Increase movement speed effect on Sing/Reduce startup/fix not being able to reflect Reindog down special after bubbled/allow fastfall while singing like in beta
I think if Sing was a lot more like how it was in beta, would go a long way towards making me actually use this special more to reflect projectiles.
That's all I want really. I don't think it's too much of an ask. Maybe also letting armor kick in a Lil faster on for Skittles.
