jump dodge kick ↗️ into sair sair. you dodge to be horizontal in the air with him instead of under him kinda like when harley does down air or marvin laser,
Other option i use is up air attack but fast fall while doing it and one of the 3 will happen: you trade, he hits you but cant follow up cause you fast fall’d, or you stuff his dive kick
Also on disadvantage on edge guard situations if you have rocket punch available try to dodge or get distance from the wall and use rocket fist on their whiff and follow up with dair its almost impossible to dodge both and one confirms the other same with nair but more risky

if you look at all of the characters, it seems like the premise that they're trying to maintain is for bruisers to have either no loops or extremely short ones
i think the only bruiser that still has long loops might be batman, but i don't really play him so i could be wrong
