I don't think you understand what the Discord ToS is talking about in relation to that.

You are absolutely allowed to log messages for Moderation Purposes, which is why the logs have to be logged in a Channel in the Discord rather than on a separate server, because you cannot store Discord Message Data on another server.

In the case of Moderation Logs, all this does is when you delete a message, our bot see's the message that was deleted and as the action takes place, it reposts that message in a chat channel that Mods have access too so we can see Deleted/Edited Messages.
