hey for everyone wondering why they can't connect to multiversus servers, it's because steam goes into maintenance every tuesday during this time. (3:00 - 5:00 PM PST). if you are trying to connect with steam currently it should be up right now or in the next 5-10 minutes.

I just resolved my same issue. it's the mods you have installed. Right click on multiversus>properties>browse local files. In there, find the folder called ~mods and delete it. now game launches

so currently 2 things then, you have crossplatform off (which is bugged), and 2 wifi connections tends to test itself to connect to the other player, if your using wifi, it may not connect fully so you start to dC and leave the lobby before it starts

If you are running into the unreal engine crash, this is because modding the game is not allowed most likely. If you have mods installed and this error occurs, delete your mods. If not, try validating files/reinstalling.

I dont know why im lagging, 60 frames per sec. Prefered north america servers. But every game I join, I teleport around bc lag. Every other game my internet is fine, on the computer is says full bars but when I join a multiversus game it averages 2 and 1 bar.

Fighting games are usually capped to 60fps to ensure an even playing ground

they are also counted in frames for moves so counting 60 fps is much easier than 144 fps

yeah first one is because the consoles cannot go above 60 normally but in most cases going to 144 in fighting gmaes like this will be hurting yourself

you can edit the fps in the files and see for yourself if you are really interested
