The point is, since they aren’t promoting any merchandise or shows or stuff involving Steven Universe with this game anymore, they aren’t going to be as focused on supporting that series in this game. I can mainly see Spinel being in since she’s a hugely popular fan request, but she’d be taking up a character slot and development time that would stop any other SU characters from being added. I just don’t see Warner Bros spending the time and money to get four separate characters in the game from a series that isn’t making them much money anymore, and being honest even saying Spinel would happen is a bit of a... stretch

Short answer: Not exactly no since in the intro video they say they want anyone possible.... But they are highly... HIGHLY unlikely

Longer Answer: Warner Bros Japan helped with the production of these animes.... That is it!! They do not own the characters, storylines, settings, absolutely NOTHING else from these series, as in they do not own the IP(intellectual property) of these series. Not for My hero, Not for Mob psycho, AND not for the JoJo series (yes, for ANY of the jojo's), and so on. These series belong to the creators of manga these animes were inspired off of and the distributors of those mangas (my hero belongs to weekly shonen jump and horikoshi, NOT Warner Brothers). While that's not to stop WB from asking these characters and maybe having them in, as in the introduction video to the game, they said they want it to feel like anyone Is possible. HOWEVER, people on this and the other reddit needs to realize, that as far as the Warner brothers family, they are not apart of it. This is a high misconception that noone has addressed and could be solve with a quick Google search.

Ah thanks for asking. I've posted a few ideas in #fan-art before, but basically, in believe he would have simmilar movement to Pac-Man's in SSBU. Taking cues from Servbot in MvC2 and Mewtwo in SSBU. I also see him having a move where he releases a spore of sorts like Starro does, that acts as a tracking projectile. I see him as a support class character, using his powers and robin training for cautious strikes in big battles. The only problem with Jarro is that he may be too small, but that can be rememedied by either A. Having Shapeshifting be a part of his moveset or an easier option, B. Having him be in a duo with another Batfamily Member, like Jason Todd or Dick Grayson

Sony can get Marvel to do whatever they want by dangling Spider-Man's film rights like bait, they did this to get Marvel Games to stop meddling with production on Spider-Man PS4 by going straight to Kevin Fiege himself. Marvel Games by themselves would probably demand an unreasonable sum of money for the Spider-Man License, but if Sony stepped in and went to Kevin, getting that license would be way easier.

For example, we don't know all the moves, but assume that each move has a different alien (like forward Special being Heatblast and up special being Stinkfly), then taunting changes the aliens used for it (like forward Special now being Swampfire and up special being Jetray).

Just a random idea, and since several of the aliens are practically similar with different attributes anyway, it could be an interesting stance system to confuse the opponent since some attacks could change properties after the taunt (that also includes more fan favourite aliens)
