That's actually not the reason why Marvel isn't happening, the reason it will never happen is because Marvel Games is notoriously difficult to work with. Just look up what happened with Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Marvel's Avengers

They'd need to outsource to someone who's time is free and someone who would deal with working with the notoriously difficult Marvel Games, an overlap that is very hard to find. (And also for licensing out to Multiversus, Disney can't just override Marvel's wishes, only Kevin Fiege could override Marvel Games since he is in charge of the division)

I think Jarro has a lot of moveset potential, by being a shapeshifter, having a good chunk of Starro's Telekinetic Power, various items like a Hammer and Starfire Poster along with training from Batman himself. He can be a very unique fighter in the support role too, Jarro can be a composite character of what You'd think Robin would play like + Starro. I think because of his unqiue niche, Jarro would be really fun. Plus anything Robin related that Jarro doesn't cover, Nightwing could just do in his own moveset (If he is added)

Freakin Beast Boy and Cyborg have more than him. Aquaman hasn't really resonated too deeply with people, you don't see anyone requesting Aquaman as their most wanted. Meanwhile Beast Boy and Cyborg aren't big franchises, haven't been too importantly historically, but have had more impact on fans due to being core members of the Teen Titans and having all-around more relatable personalities. PPG's got a point tbh. Having high numbers of requests will improve your chances of getting added later on to some degree, though it's far from the deciding factor. The devs are going to add characters mostly based on what they can acquire, what they think will add to the game's roster in terms of gameplay variety / balance, and what the publisher wants for the game. Big fan requests definitely have merit for retaining your existing audience, but a character having a lot of votes won't necessarily mean that they get in over someone less popular / heavily requested who meets those other criteria.

Eh, it's not really worth the time and effort, all you really need to know is that between the animation and the conclusion their point was presented poorly and now that most of the genuine outrage over the episode has subsided it's become a meme goldmine (especially regarding one line about time travel)

Frankly, I'd love if both of these two were in the same game, not just because I think it'd be funny, not just because it'd probably attract over a lot of Death Battle fans, but because both of them have a lot of moveset potential for a game like this and could be fun, unique characters that change the meta

Yeah, Death Battle is a real rollercoaster of quality, episodes range anywhere from atrocious to boring to fantastic with no real tells as to what's good and what's bad aside from season 1 needing to be avoided like the plague aside from Goku vs Superman's fight

I remember the early seasons abusing the no limits fallacy a lot. Is that still a problem in the later episodes? I haven't seen that many of them (except Dio vs. Alucard, watched that one earlier today).

In terms of my own recommendations, I'd go for Dio vs Alucard, Yoda vs King Mickey, Link vs Cloud, Goku Black vs Reverse Flash, and Batman vs Iron Man, all from the latest season. And yeah, the no limits fallacy tends to not be an issue as much any more, and honestly I didn't really have much of a problem with it in Dio vs Alucard considering the rest of that episode is honestly a contender for one of the best in the series

Well, off the top of my head, both fandoms have the "incessantly harassing their creators" thing down. Beyond that, we also have incidents of Steven Universe fans review-bombing hotels as a gag because they shared the same name as a hotel in an episode (endangering people's livelihoods in the process) and openly encouraging fan artists to self-harm because they drew a character slightly slimmer than in canon.

For the most part, all but one of my characters are DC characters. That said though, I tried to narrow it down to DC characters that WB would want to promote: For heroes: The Flash, Aquaman, (both are prominent Justice Leaguers and have movies coming out), Cyborg (prominent Justice Leaguer and Teen Titan), Robin, Beast Boy, Raven, Starfire (WB has not one but TWO successful series starring them), Green Lantern (if and when a good movie starring him comes out and so that a certain someone you'll see later on can have his revenge😈 ), Shazam (about to get a sequel), maybe Batgirl and Blue Beetle (they have their own movies coming out but aren't as prominent characters). For villains, for now I'm only going with ones we've seen or will see in the DCEU: Lex Luthor, The Joker, Cheetah, Black Manta (might not be popular enough though), Black Adam and Darkseid (who might even be a boss if that's a thing). Last, but definitely not least, my final character is my most wanted character: Ben 10. He was a huge part of my childhood and a huge part of Cartoon Network as a whole. I'd love to see how they pull him off, just as long as they stick with the Classic Continuity. #Ben10forMultiVersus.
