The only thing here that has some credibility is “updating the game once every month and a half”. Even though that's how it is with other games, actual Patch updates are done before then in other games sometimes.

“Broken characters” are found in EVERY fighting game.

“Lack of balancing” this is personal because each update they do in fact “balance” the game. So your probably referring to bad balance instead here.

“Adding new characters straight to rank” literally happens in EVERY fighting game. Its an “issue” in all these games so that point is also invalid.

Sometimes when I'm playing my characters controls will lock entirely, It'll force me to run to one side then it won't stop.

It causes me to run off the map and die multiple times, usually losing the game unless I disconnect and reconnect my controller in time.

I can't seem to recreate it reliably or find many other people having the same issue, but it's happening quite often. I use a ps4 controller with the cord attached

it happened to me a few times, and I died a couple of times, but it usually works

Please remove dexters lab 2 from the ranked 1 v 1 Que. By far the worst 1 v 1 map in the game. The platforms are horribly placed, the upper blast zone is way too high up and wide so characters are living at 130 % and the stage itself is way too small.

Jesus christ the matchmaking in ranked is BROKEN.

It makes no sense at all. The point distribution is absolute trash. You're WAY too forced to be in a premade if you want to make any progress at all otherwise the game CONSTANTLY forces you into matches with low rank teammates against high rank or premade enemy teams

or it gives you low rank enemies that gives you absolute CRAP rewards

Why the hell not just match players against other players or similar rank, and reward points based on good that enemy is.

MMR matched matchmaking with rank based points is IDIOTIC. I fought someone who was plat with Black Adam in 1v1 but bronze in 2v2, and I got points based on his rank but the game pitted me against him because of his MMR. This is garbage, this is not goddamned fair.

Either remove MMR based matchmaking or make the points goddamn reflect the MMR of your enemy.

What's the difference? matchmaking system for the casual and ranked game? THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. I'm sweating on bronze because apparently everyone starts on bronze, what's the point of that? What is the average of the matches to determine your initial ranking? Why don't you lose points? Ok so the plot of a hypothetical poison ivy rift were PFG to ever add her could go like this:
Arya and Fern are sparring in the first node, he gets upset after losing and runs off.
Arya has to go find him, and rescues him from Evil Shaggy. Fern gets upset again that he needed to be rescued, and runs off. Arya is very annoyed at this point.
Fern ended up finding Poison Ivy, and sides with her, probably because she's nice to him. Probably being deceptively nice. Node where you fight both of them together. Could have Arya or Harley as the player 2 bot.
After losing they retreat and you fight Green Knight Fern as the rift boss. Arya has to apologize for being ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUSLY BUSTED NERF THIS CHARACTER and convince Fern to stop siding with the bad guy over hurt feelings just because ivy is less critical when he fails

Shaggy's Rage and Samurai Jack's Focus should be removed.

Rage and Focus not only reward the player for losing but they also function as a win harder mechanic as well. There is almost no counter play them either besides running away, but in the chaos of 2vs2 its pretty difficult, especially since some of these boosted attacks have insane hitboxes. Parrying is the only other option but its hard to rely on that. As mentioned before, 2vs2 can be very chaotic and sometimes there is no time to react to them and due the the insane killpower Rage/Focus moves have its almost too risky to even go for a parry. Rage/Focus Attacks end up feeling like Low risk / High Reward moves and I think its very bad game design. Personally I've always hated comeback mechanics but I especially hate when only certain characters get access to them.

The Aura from Rage and Focus on the other hand are cool and I think Shaggy's Rage Aura and Samurai Jacks Focus Aura would be cool cosmetic items you could equip to any character.
