The fact that PFG randomly made "Crushing" difficulty NOT available in the "Age of Smith" Rift, despite making clear that "Easy" and "Crushing" would never be locked to Rifts 1-3 or 4-8, and never making available (which means PFG did a pretty scummy move and made the event to unlock Smith for free harder then it needed to be), and they never made it available and when the final "Triple Trouble" Rift ALSO not have the "Crushing" difficulty available AGAIN, really says something about PFG.
And on a smaller note, when selecting the Rift difficulty, the banners for "The Age of Smith" and "Triple Trouble" uses the Rift icon for Rift 1 (With Rift 7 never having it fixed to show the correct banner btw).

Remove the "enemies become enraged" debuff from Troll Tactics.
Troll Tactics doing literlly nothing but being a silly cosmetic would make it more fun and popular, the enraged debuff it has is such a huge downside and potential issue for your teammate that it's not worth using even as a joke.

hell if you wanted to make troll tactics actually useful you'd nake it so it applied a stack of weakened to enemies, so you have reason to taunt while they are still alive and risk being hit

What the game needs to do is stop removing features bro. Like you had a lot of things taken out of the official launch for no reason. Player counts has literally been dropping due to returning players not wanting to play a game that isn't even as good as the game they had played before.

Then with new players, due to the way they took out gold and replaced it with fighter currency caused for new players to be practically unable to even play the game as they need to spend about 5-70hrs just trying to unlock their first character depending on the player

In the beta, every new player got exactly enough gold to buy a single character without even needing to play the game. Their is no reason that shouldn't be the same for launch but instead it's not, you get 0 currency at start so new users just get screwed

Then back to returning players, most of the returning players has already left as when the game launched we seen that on steam alone it had over 150k players day 1

But what happened? All those returning players who was in that 150k pull frame left the game due to it not only straight up looking worse when you play the game because the camera is way more zoomed in then it should be, but the game is also 20% slower which caused old players to dislike it as it's not even the same game that they remember, and they don't even have a way to flex your characters level among other forms of flexing that returning players should be able to do. At least now we get DMG stats again which only took a freaking month of post launch for content we had day 1 beta

For the first statement depends what you mean by new player because once you start the game you are rewarding with around 9k fc for just doing the beginning quest and logging in

Yes, it's possible. As a player who lost his beta account and had to start completely fresh I have been able to 8 characters with fighter currency. However, you really have to grind a lot to get that FC

I'll agree that getting the first character can be completed kinda nicely, uh, not every new player is gonna be a returning player that lost their account. So for some new players, Getting that first 3k can be a pain outside of getting your account leveled up.

Also you not not given much for login. I can't still see the banana guard login but the login bonus that is still visible only gave a total of 800 fighting currency which is not acceptable

However if the player could level up the account you could actually get a character pretty fast, you only need to get to level 9💀

As if I remember correctly on both level 5 & 9 the player is rewarded with 1.5k fighter currency. Which that is amazing, it's super amazing that we get rewarded in that way. But let's not act like you just get 1 level pur match. Realisticly it is probably gonna take you a couple hours to get your account leveled up.

For missions I suppose it's possible for new players to finish those and quickly get their first character but- the new player would have to figure out what each mission is asking, they might struggle with some missions etc etc and could still end up taking a little bit of time. Which that is fine, the missions should keep people engaged for as long as possible

But in comparison to the beta where gold was much easier to come by. I mean it's just a L all around because these problems of new players not having fun trying to unlock characters just didn't exist.

People were able to easily acquire enough gold just by playing matches, no need to level up, no need to finish mission, no, you got gold for finishing a match which was incredible 😃

But I mean I guess it is possible for new users to get a character quickly.

all i can see is the map, a timer stuck on 7:00 at the top, and the icon of the character that i and my opponent chose on the top

and it said that it came with 2.4k prestige
i got the ringout
but i didnt get the prestige

one more serious important thing i have to say… KEEP THE RIFTS BEYOND SEASON 1!!!!! this would be an absolutely terrible decision to remove them. you can hide them at the very end after tutorial under SEASON 1 RIFTS or something , but DO NOT REMOVE THE RIFTS. i want to be able to go back & play them. eventually when the game is no longer active you should be able to play entirely offline without login in couch co op & against the rifts & their bosses. plz do not make the mistake of removing the rifts at the end of every season. don’t say you weren’t warned.

Next season, I think what would make the rifts a lot more fun but still a challenge is seriously turn down the damage scaling, and maybe even gem effects level up more instead of the damage itself. If damage reduced and multiplied went down to like 1.5x max, that's if you're playing the hardest mode with no gems equipped, then the gems would be much more helpful incrementally and allow the player to feel accomplished just beating the AI, and the gems should allow them to get a small boost to their defense and damage, again 50% more MAX, but that's it. The current damage scaling is just absurd, and makes it so much less fun. The AI itself and mutators should be the real challenge, not the damage scaling being way to much on any sides favor.

I really like the game, it's really fun, but as someone who sucks at PvP, there isn't much to do. PvE mode gets really repetitive and there's nothing really to do besides that, no motivation to get through the passes, hope to get to see some new modes eventually
