REQUEST | NEW TRAINING MODE : KEYWORDS DICTIONARY

At this moment, the Move List for every character contains highlighted keywords. These colored keywords are not defined anywhere obvious in the game. On top of that Google ain't what it used to be. It a TAB across the top could be re-added for the "LAB", it would be the perfect spot to add a "KEYWORDS" section.

Simple fact is that for new players, saying a character becomes "ENRAGED" is meaningless on its own.

Take advantage of having multiple franchise already in MultiVersus known for entertaining and educating: Adventure Time & Steven Universe. Since the "KEYWORDS" section should have been 'video' (can be just NPC characters acting out the thing), you could take advantage of characters who on their own are unlikely to ever make their way into MultiVersus to do the VO's as a way to add them to MVS. For example: Simon Petrikov (from Adventure Time and the new and currently renewed for another season Adventure Time: Fionna & Cake) who is voiced by Tom Kenny is a scholar and a bookworm in the series. While Simon's alter-ego The Ice King would be a fabulous addition to the game in the long term, Simon would be better as a Narrator in some capacity and as an instructor for players he would be perfect. Maybe demonstrating moves on screen tap in The Hologram Pearl (from Steven Universe). The Hologram is a AI Sparing Partner who is voiced by Pearl (Deedee Magno) but just a bit more robotic. (This has the additional advantage for having them read for full characters in case they are ever considered.)

Please add an offline mode. The game being always online guarantees the game will be unplayable when Warner Bros decides to pull the plug. The beta had an offline mode, but it strangely disappeared during this full release. I bought a Founders Pack during this era, but I am not comfortable putting any more money into this game until an offline mode is added and assuring it won't become unplayable when support stops.

Tony Huynh and everyone else at PFG, please show that the name "Player First" Games isn't just for show, and add an offline mode.

The Harley stage (stage 3) of the newest rift on Insane difficulty is way overtuned for the gem level. It is a thousand times harder than the one that comes before it. There's no way this is intentional

I don't care about like 95% of the battlepass, and everything seems geared towards it; I just want to unlock characters, and maybe buy cosmetics for the ones I care most about, but it's impossible to unlock more than 2-3 characters without spending money. There really needs to be a way to get fighter currency - the beta had both daily missions and some from each match, but now there's nothing, and it makes the game not even worth playing to me.

Garnet was fun to use in the beta and it ended with her being buffed so I was happy but now they release her with all of her armor stripped but you’ll keep people like shaggy almost untouched. PvE on higher difficulty is incredibly frustrating. The CPUs dealing boosted damage instead of just being progressively more aggressive (as higher difficulty CPU in fighting games always is) is a very artificial way of increasing difficulty. There's "hard" and there's being blatantly unfair. In a gameplay style where you're meant to get hits in back and forth with your opponent, getting hit even once can be a death sentence when the damage is boosted. The most reasonable approach to most fights on high difficulty is to cheese them, and that's not a show of skill thats showing that you figured out which attack is the best to spam to get the best of a CPU that will destroy you in 2 hits if you fumble the input.

tl;dr rifts on high difficulty should just have more aggressive CPU rather than giving the enemies boosted damage

There's an issue with respawning in this game: invincibility is wildly inconsistent. Sometimes, you spawn flashing white to show you are immune to everything until you attack. Other times, you respawn vulnerable soon as you respawn. People can literally hit you off of the spawn platform in this event.

Also while on said platform, you can be "pushed" off. Mojo Jojo's magnet is the only instance where this happens so far but other map hazards in the future may come into play.

You guys confuse harder gameplay with unfair odds. You expect us to level up gems playing rifts but I’ve done daily’s for over a week and multiple whole rift floors and still only one of my gems are level 5 and it’s impossible to run by myself with level 4 gems. I get gearing content for multiplayer but how are you going to make 1/5 of the missions for if someone plays with you. I might only be able to enjoy the game casually at hours where my friends aren’t on or I might not have any friends that play it. All that could be forgiven if you put a quick match function in but you didn’t. You should honestly just delete the mission that requires bringing a friend and keep the same ratio of needing to get all starts but 1 on every mission to fully clear every floor so it’s 3/4 instead of 4/5 and the bring a friend isn’t even on the mission list and maybe you could save your games PVE play or just keep it how it is and make everyone hate it overtime since it’s grindy and unfair and slowly chip away at your player base until we have 1 minute que ups again

The core gameplay is better than the beta, but there are a lot of issues.

• Camera is way too zoomed in. If the camera is this zoomed in at least factor in projectile characters. T&J is a lot worse just because the camera completely ignores Jerry and you can easily lose track of him in a scramble. Practicing combos is also more difficult in the lab when your projectiles go out of view
• Speaking of the lab, the options are way too limited. No recording and extremely basic dummy settings make this the worst lab I've experienced in a fighting game. I think a friend is required to lab anything complex.
• It's a real shame that toast backs were removed. I feel like the ability to toast back really added to the sense of community in the beta, and I think it's a huge loss that it's missing in the full release.
• On the topic of toasts, why don't you add the ability to convert perk currency into toasts? This would give hardcore players sitting on tons of perk currency something to do with it that benefits the community, and with the addition of the ability to toast back it would incentivize players to toast each other as much as possible to convert their perk currency into fighter currency. They get to feel like they're helping the casual players with their mountains of perk currency and casual players get more incentive to play the hardcore players so the losses (hopefully) don't sting as badly.

Please let us have sets of gems that will automatically switch depending on what type of rift battle it is. When working on a rift where there are different types, having to constantly be switching your gems is super annoying. Also, the screen that tells you your gems don't match doesn't look different enough from the regular option window that usually pops up so I don't notice it then I have to wait while get my but kicked because there also is no way to exit a rift battle once you start it.. which there should be... Also let us retry after we fail a rift or at least don't have it move to some random battle...

• Bring Damage on endgame screen put in some rewarding stats !
• on account customization board why can i choose to display a badge or another but cant take a peek at the stats linked to it ? just saying that is literally an obvious thing to do.
• speed up on ranked cuz a lot of players are tryhards that only play ranked gamemodes u loose a lot of everyday players not playing as much as if they had ranked ! (before season 2 to test it would be great)
• I would love to see larger maps with platform on the side, it would give more space to the gameplay and force ppl more to go for spike and mid air mechanics.

Jason needs buffs. Increase his movement speed a bit, neutral attack I feel should have armor, after using his teleport move allow reduce his input delay. Allow him to attack a bit sooner.

With Jason being a slow, big, easy hit box, against faster charters like Harley and Finn, these adjustments will make him more enjoyable to play.

Garnet could use some buffs too. Increase her movement speed a bit as well, and slightly increase her charge moves speed

I think Taz’s sandwich clap move is too oppressive due to its mobility, large hitbox, and high knockback. I believe Taz’s gameplay revolves too heavily around this move. It can scoop, combo, kill, do whatever you want basically. Please consider nerfing it in one or more significant areas so that Taz players can express mastery in more creative ways and people who fight against him can more effectively enact counterplay.
