Unlike Smash (at least to me), there's way more surface-level mechanics that were intentional and feel great because of them. If they pivoted their focus from giving someone the highest damage & armor on their side special to these mechanics and making the game more combo based (like it was), I think everyone who actually enjoys the game would enjoy it more (aka fixing dodge, knockback, etc).
I hate that every platform fighter uses knockback as a crutch for whoever can get more chip damage & press 1 button. It'd be refreshing and actually make sense for you to have to get them further out and work for a kill confirm.
There's already so many mechanics that try to keep you away from the center of the stage, why not do something with that?? Maybe changing the falloff for knockback to keep you closer to the center of the stage so they have to actually do something other than a special, idk. @neat timber these are his words :)

Yes of course they should have different XP values if you win or lose, but I want that if I play their game instead of others, my time is rewarded in their progress and they don't laugh at me. There are many companies that do not learn and put the passes for you to complete them just or not complete them, but they DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT; if you make me a pass that I have to grind I will leave it, if you make me to go up fast and easy it will surely happen to me like in Fortnite/Dead By Daylight that I do not care to put money because I have spent the premium currency in skin because I know I WILL BE ABLE TO COMPLETE the pass without needing to grind. Tbh too, it's not really fun to press side special to kill. Even when I win, it doesn't feel like I was rewarded or did anything, just feels like I kept chipping them until using the attack that sends them up (while on the ground). I can get crazy combos with Gizmo, still not win, and I'm still happy that I got the crazy combos. THIS is what the game feels like it should be centered around and why I think you shouldn't be able to have any kill power on the ground. I think that maybe the skill curve for this game would change significantly, but at least once you get it it'd feel awesome instead of just using and abusing 1 move finishers.
Given that combos are really fun to do in this game, it's kinda ironic that you can kill so easily on the ground in a platform fighter...just kind a wish more of the action happened in the air (why the old dodge/attack decay system felt better, at least to me)

Correct, the xbox version is now locked at 15-20 fps at random occurrences during the match and will sometimes have immense input delay on attacks randomly, along with freezes still occurring… this is on a series x as well

Also the xbox version is still experiencing poor graphical quality on ringouts, banners, etc., especially on some of the new paid ones like the $10 slashed ringout - that one doesn’t even load and is just a blurry box on xbox (again, on the series x as well, which should have these issues)

It could also have been a "rocky" launch due to the game having significant changes from it's beta, including a new engine change which could cause peformance issues for the game. Another change the game had was some changes in it's gameplay, including Moveset changes, damage changes, removal of "Attack Decay", etc.

Nope, basically every aspect of finn has been nerfed to dark place underneath. None of his moves does good damage, many changes to his movements making him worse, he flies for infinity at low damages, and basically none of his strings or combos work anymore so its boring as hell. His backpack recovery sends enemies to the side but is so weak even at high damages, the double backpack thing almost never works against better players. And the backpack thing looks to have such a low priority as it gets hit through by alot of moves, including other recoveries. This is not even mentionting his HORRIBLE hitboxes

The agent Smith event is basically impossible at this point. Players won't get all the 30 boss kills even if you open up all difficulties by the time the first 5 rifts come out, because it comes out to 25. Just wanted to jump in here and drop some info the team I think may be helpful. I am sure many of them are known, but as someone who is excited about this game and wish it to succeed cause I love having a more competitive brawl type game on my PC just wanted to leave my thoughts in hope for a long future for this game.

• why the Two separate lobbies for rift and PVPs and forced removal when already partied with a friend when you want to switch between the two. This just fiddly and feels meh.

-Missions assigned for things you don’t have at all. This including Rift dailies that have certain character or skin requirements. Just kind of locks people out of having fun.
My first week of Weeklies required me to have Joker and use his bazooka. I completed everything else but was going to miss out on like 2k with of Battlepass xp because I don’t have this character? Kinda sucks.

-Account Cosmetic menu: so this is small polish, but every time you go to the Account cosmetic section (with a controller) it automatically puts you in the drop down for banners. So when I move right to go over to profile icon or ringouts, I am stuck in all the banner options I have. I have to press B to back out then go over. Again, not game break but feels not fun CAUSE EVERY time I swap over to Account cosmetics, I have to press B then hit right to go to other account options.

-Training mode: Just let us try all the characters. I want to know how they play before I buy them and encourages me to play more or spend money to get them if I really like them.

-Store tab: Where is all the ring out options? Or options to buy we had before? They are still in the game cause daily deals shows them but there is no browse all section, or maybe I am missing something.

-Gem loadouts: Can the Gems for the different traits just stay equipped PER trait. When I got to digital path to horror, why do I have to change gems? Why cant the horror ones I used the last time I did a horror mission not be used. So fiddly and feels bleh.

• Fighter store character tickets: So this one hurt a lot but I was saving a fighter ticket from the first beta for a character I really wanted. But currently you are FORCED to use the ticket for characters even if you have the fighter currency for someone.
  This meant if I wanted to try and pick someone up for the battle pass objectives, I HAD TO USE my ticket which I been saving carefully for a character down the line and this really sucks and feels bad when playing the game.
  -Fighter store Character ticket #2: Also when you forced to use the ticket, it doesn’t really tell you the price of the characters you are using the tickets on. All the prices are changed to (1 ticket) soo after being forced to use it so I can get another character, I learned that Joker was 6k double the price of every other character. I wish I knew this so I knew who to use my ticket on then when I am being asked to buy him for being a loyal fan trying to do the weekly objects. So now I not being efficient with my ticket, but now I am missing out on another character I could have had because I had to spend 6k triangles on The Joker opposed to 3k on the person I spent my ticket just cause the information was not shared to me the player.

The wishlist of cool things:

-Specific cut scene for the Rift adventure that ties into the story. Not just a character trailer. (a lot of extra work but would be cool)

• The OG Space kook sound effect on his ring out animation (I hope it shows up in the store again to buy, seen it on my friends store tab)

I am a little late to posting this but I have been personally really enjoying the game and I want to congratulate PFG and WB Games on the launch!

I do have some feedback I would like to give, some of this has probably already been said by others or acknowledged by you guys, if so you can skip over the ones that apply.

I am aware some people think the game is a bit too slow, I don't mind the speed personally but if you all do decide to up the speed, please don't overcorrect and make it too fast.

I would love if the training room could come back as a stage in regular matchmaking, it plays my favorite music track in the game and I miss hearing it in matches.

Adding a restart or quit option in rift battles, and a retry option after completing one would be a nice quality of life change

Attack Decay should be re-added as some players have become prone to spam due to it's removal especially if a character has a very fast and safe option or if it has armor.

I understand Gleamium is the main currency for you guys to make money, it is a f2p game and I understand, but giving at least a few more ways to obtain it outside of fighter mastery and purchases would be nice

Locking certain Rift Battles behind having a specific skin is pretty annoying.

The Camera Zoom could be tweaked a small bit, it's not too bad for me personally, but I know some others do want it to be zoomed out a small bit, especially if they have their information set to be on their character rather than the bottom or top of the screen.

I miss the funny in-character text boxes that would appear when you selected whether to rematch someone or not

One thing to keep in mind is, you aren't gonna be able to please everyone, a lot of the time when developers want to please everyone they end up making changes that affect the game for the worst, I appreciate that you all are very communicative with the community and listen to feedback, and I am not saying you shouldn't listen to the community, it's very appreciative, it is just important to remember you can't please everyone.

there are new combos, i believe this combos are only possible thanks to the reduced hit pause, i have only seen them today with garnet and joker, and they are unescapable, they consist of landing one side attack (garnet can also start it with neutral air) then -> dash -> side attack -> dash -> side attack -> Combo continuation or finish, has someone else experienced them, joker can kill at 55% with them and garnet can deal up to 60% in one combo again withouth being able to dodge out of them, i dont think they are healthy for the game but i wanna know if someone else has experienced them and what do you think

because you have more incentive to play characters and you dont have to purchase stuff to get skins for them

This game had no issues in beta was like the best game out, so fun and engaging then beta ends full release and two thirds can’t play explain that how do you mess up so bad that you pss off the majority of the player base and have so many issues and do “updates and bug repairs” and not fix a single issue but add more problems

Hey guy's straight up. Sorry for this upcoming text wall everyone, but I'm just gonna say it now. I love this game I bought the $100 founders pack, and I bought the toony tv skins for my 3 mains but I'm not gonna keep playing and spending if you're going to try and force me to do this ridiculous grind for this game's battlepass. I don't mind challenges for xp, but my problem is that even with the challenges I've only gotten about 5 levels and while that's not bad for 2hrs, but I don't wanna play the characters you're making me play for these challenges. Its not much for one and 10 XP per win and 5 per loss is even worse. It needs to be a 100xp for a win and 50 for a loss if you're going to be that way. Assuming the XP gains get even higher the higher I go I need 2K xp for one level right now around level 18.

So if I avoid challenges that's 200 games won for ONE LEVEL and 400 games for ONE LEVEL if I do nothing but lose. Of course people are gonna have a range between that but for one level that is beyond ridiculous. Fortnite has 200 levels and each level is 80,000K for experience. If I do trash and lose all my games fairly early in game that's 2k-5k xp which is 40 games worst case scenario while you're asking for 400 worst case scenario for one level. That's absolutely not okay because most of us if not all of us have other games to play, other things in our lives to do than to sit and play this game all day for one or two levels after playing for hours once challenges are done. In the last beta I sucked it up and bought the last 10 levels I needed after the grind but I'm 100% not going to be doing that again for this game. I can stick with you through the server issues and balance and bugs, but this trash battle pass grind I will not sit through because I got other things I wanna do with my time and effort.

The first closed test xp was good where it was but the people that sit on games 24/7 like they don't have a life to live complained they had nothing to do after grinding it. bro this game is actually making me mad for two main reasons:
1: idk if its a hitbox or timing thing but half the time i hit someone, i.e. my attack makes contact, before they even swing, im the one that gets hit.

2: hit boxes are actually broken. im getting hit by attacks that arent even touching me. I even got sucked in to an attack when i had distance the opponent was facing. the. other. way.

this game was great in beta and now i dont even want to play pvp. im even hesitant to do rifts because of this. please for the love of games fix this its making the experience unbearable.
