Not really sure where to ask this since the #game-feedback channel is supposed to be for discord feedback, not game feedback, but something I noticed: how are in-person events going to be handled when people have different UI settings? A significant one is the damage meter, which can be changed to appear at the bottom of the screen as opposed to following each player individually. Assuming there is a competitive scene, having 2 people on each of 2 screens could be a problem if each person on a team has different preferences.

people really should stop buying into that expensive garbage. some games might do it right but that´s really just the outliers. i´m all for cosmetics at a reasonable price but as soon as real money can affect gameplay (and yes there are games where even skins do that) it is a no go imo. skins in a platform fighter are a welcome addition because they actually can help to improve the visual clarity (again, at a reasonable price or even better, for completing challenge stuff without paying anything at all)

I'm hopeful they changed one thing from the prior tests that might be awkward for new people - some characters have chargeable attacks on neutral attacks as opposed to side attacks. This isn't so much of a problem since you can swap them around in the settings, but the settings aren't per character, they're an overall thing, so having to constantly swap your options if you want to change characters can get a bit annoying if you're not happy with the default.

For example, Bugs - his neutral grounded attack is a chargeable mallet swing, but his air neutral is a spin. Side grounded attack is a flurry punch, and side air attack is a chargeable side kick.
