Well thats the thing about macros is you'll never know if it's being used or not. You'll just think they must be really skilled. But macros are banned in platform fighter tournaments, so it's a big enough issue for them to set that rule.

I'll explain it like this, for Rick I have a combo where I need to do a side attack, then an up attack, then jump, then air up attack, then up special, then air side attack. But with a macro on pc I could set that exact combo up to activate with the press of a single button instead of hitting each move correctly.

i think Gizmo has bad match ups against WW, Joker, Batman maybe because BAtman is good at keep range and hit and run... Arya might be a pain too, Banana i dont know i think Banana has more strenght, Taz is auto lose, T&J is probably auto lose too
