I can't see why they wouldn't dub it later on but rn (Like dubbing for Japanese since Japan is also big on platform fighters and fighting games in general) maybe a later update to that stuff since rn the budget is pretty tight compared to your average fighting game (SF by defualt has every character do English and Japanese but it has Sony money)

There is no general secret to playing. If you want tips for specific characters more can be said

You can watch some character tutorials on Youtube by people who are legit some of the top players on that characters in the ranking. After that you just have to practice the combos, muscle memory, and finger discipline.

Yes. A battle pass token is basically worth 950 gleamium (idk if it‘s spelled like that). So if you buy the 100$ premium back you get 3 battle passes for free. You dont have to use the tokens on a season pass you dont like. So you can keep them and use them on later ones.

Love Jake I use him the most and is pretty versatile

He's great against both close and ranged characters since he can reflect protectiles pretty easily and can attack relatively far away with his basic side air keeping you safe

Yeah it also does it if your opponents wifi is poor usually it'll show a yellow triangle up top to show the culprit but if you can't tolerate the occasional lag you can fight the CPUs which provide a lot of challenge

I don't really understand what a meaty is but from the definition I saw. There are stuff that seems to match. Like with Harley if you do her air hammer sometimes you might notice it made a higher pitch sound and it's cause they hit at I believe like the very end of the hammer swing when it's behind her that does if I remember correctly either more damage, knockback, or both. Can't really remember cause I haven't fully studied her since I've been maxing everyone first.

Meaty is basically catching someone pressing buttons when they they're out of hitstun.

I'm not sure of any proper example in multiversus but in other fighting games, say you knock someone down. They can't press any buttons and are invulnerable until they get back up and regain control of the character. In that case you can try and "meaty" them which means you use an attack with a lot of active frames to stub any buttons they'd try to press on wake-up/regaining control because every attack has a wind-up animation for X amount of frames where their attack isn't active but they can get hit. So if you don't block the moment you wake up against a meaty, you'll get hit.

Reason I'm asking is because it feels like dodge ignores the meaty rule and is active on frame 0 for half of the people I fight against but not the other half.

Oh there is whiff recovery with different characters just recently they put more on Finn, and bugs and are being watched to see if they need to apply more but that's basically their version of meaty

Bats is weird on the down attack timing since its basically a lag effect. My best advice on it which is not some grand wisdom is just do it one or two ticks before literally anyone else's down attack

Hey guys im havin hardware(?) issues I think. Im a long-time smash player and im tryna pick up MV but im gettin rly rly bad, consistent auto-turnarounds and my control-stick regions are super inconsistent. I can say that I started to play Harley better when I focused on stacking confetti. Forced me to have intention in my attacks and follow-ups

Go in lab and mess around with here memorize all the attacks and work on combos

Watch a character tutorial and then spend a few hours in The Lab learning her hit string and combos. Harley has a lot of neat more advanced stuff she can do but it takes a lot of practice and finger discipline.

Well my guess came because no one else has really complained about this in my short investigation and a PS4 struggling with a game typically means somethings going wrong unless that game isn't properly setup for it. You can try waiting on the games main menu for 5-10 minutes and see if it gets itself together. Close the game properly and try restarting it.

There could be arguments that certain inputs are easier on a controller over a keyboard. But ultimately, it boils down to what is most comfortable for yourself. When I played Smash, I was constantly told that I should use my right stick for certain moves (Tilts?) And I just never did because it wasn't comfortable for me.
Just go with what's best. There's no such thing as the "best sensitivity" or "best keybinds".
