I've been popping off with Shaggy, he's quite good and pretty basic. If you wanna stick to high damage though, somebody like Harley is probably a good option. Unless you wanna dedicate some time into learning, then I'd go with Arya. She seems like a menace.

Big tip if you want to get better and earn coins and exp and battle pass missions do co-op vs bots. Level up the character. Play different characters to level up. Give toast. Win against the bots.

This game has a single dodge mechanic and it's basically an invincibility frame that you have to time in accordance to an enemy attack to make them whiff. It doesn't affect movement at all.

Finn, is an easy character, who is strong, he isnt meant to have a load of skill expression. And thats okay, hes meant to stomp low skill players, why should two people with 50 hours one playing finn and one playing harley should harley win that, it makes no sense. Easy characters should be still be good, they allow you to learn the core fundamentals of a game, whenever you look at the leaderboard and tournaments, where is the Finn players? the most broken character in the game? Just my thoughts on the way the community hates Finn.

As I said, Finn is a easy character to pick up and learn, and thats a good thing, because it allows you to learn the fundamentals of the game, movement dodging reading etc. and he is strong with a lower amount of skill input. It takes lower amount of skill to operate at a decent level, while having a lower skill ceiling, than arya or harley for example. hes meant to win at lower levels. Its like Garen or Malphite from league, easy and strong, so noobs call him op when they run into him and die autopiloting. (Also im not saying he doesn't need changes I genuinely think some hitboxes need to be tweaked, but there are so many other characters with a competent player who will do so much more damage and will be harder to deal with)

laptop looks like. there are a couple things. 1) make sure you're plugged in. you can mess with power settings to make it so you don't have to do this, but by default laptops generally won't go full speed running on battery. 2) you have multiple GPUs in that laptop. the pretty bad intel one but that nvidia actually kind-of-decent-for-what-it-is. you could make sure windows is set to use the nvidia GPU for the game in case it's accidentally not.

Good FPS actually, it's just that in game I desync or whatever it's called when I'm seeing a different thing than my opponents. I played a few games with some friends earlier and I was on one side of the screen on mine but somewhere completely different on theirs and then it suddenly teleports me to wherever I was on their screen

my b when you said graphics stuff i assumed you had fps issues. the teleporting is connection issue (most of the time, as long as the server isn't on fire). if you're teleporting on your screen and they're not on theirs, it's something to do with your connection to the server. it could be something between you and the server, in which case there probably isn't much you can do, but you can make sure your connection at home is solid

So your MMR is changing. if check out your characters in collections you can see their specific rankings. Your MMR isn't changing because the character you are using is lower then the one shown. Once that character exceeds the shown characters MMR it will start to rise again.
