Instant ARSBH - From any state in which you are airborne, time a side b without rocket as soon as youre about to collide with the ground and let go of side b. if done correctly, bugs bunny should stop moving, and you should be able to tilt your joystick in a direction to move him. Shortened ARSBH - From any state in which you are airborne, almost BEFORE you are going to hit the ground do a side b. you shouldnt be as close as you were when doing the previous version mentioned, but you should be slightly higher. let go of the input. bugs bunny should stop moving and you should be able to control the side b. easiest to do is angled / shortened arsbh as it allows u to still get the hover even if youre timing is off because it angles u downwards

The first issue with this assumption is that they thought anything was wrong with the hitboxes and if they didnt work on banana at all that it would have gotten the resources you are saying it should have gotten. Jason launched with horribly broken hitboxes to the point it should have been obvious and it took somewhere around 2-3 months before he got adjusted with tons of other characters like wonderwoman, buggs, and superman. So this alone negates the argument that solely shifting bananas development to hitboxes would fix it because 2 days does not equal months of work in exchange
2. Time is pretty relevant because I doubt the cost of the voice actor for Banana guard was breaking ht ebank. But if we want to talk about voice acting being a burden in general we can. Like The game didn't need top tier voice actors for batman, joker, PPG/Harley/whoever else she voiced I think there was 1 more.
3. All characters are variants of the same bipedal model. What makes a character easy to make is when the exact model already exists and doesnt need modfications, just animations to it which was the case with banana guard. Nubia started off as a wonder woman skin meaning she needed a shield and sword and would otherwise have the same shapes/poses as wonder woman. Nubia probably has an extremeley similar model but needed modeling work done on her spear + texture and likely needed her texture redone once they decided to change her model to make her her own character. Also having voicelines in text files doesnt mean the audio was done but she might have been done back then depending on how far she was as a skin

More people buy those ridiculously priced new character bundles than people thought. Its why they didnt instantly go away unlike tons of other monetization models they tried (and failed) to do.

While they couldn't possibly NOT notice the hitboxes sucked, most likely couldn't fix them on time, they might have noticed it with more testing and less development of another, I hesitate to say, "character" to increase the workload. And again, I didn't say they would reach the same quality of months later at launch, just better than how it was, especially since the worst hitboxes were precisely bg's covering a mile radius with a side B. Now THAT made people leave!
2. You are considering only one language, and if you think they alerted recording studios in every country they localized the game in within a 2 days window, you are hopeless. That weekend thing isn't what you think it is.
3. There are leaks of the nubia model, and just by looking at it it's clear they just altered it slightly and changed the clothes, basically a skin of a skin. At that point animating the ragdoll with WW joints is easier than making a new character. If the difference was night and day like Shaggy and Superman, I'd buy your bipedal argument, but I don't. It's also painfully obvious her lines were recorded for the beta variant since they don't make ANY reference to the spear and never address any non-beta character.
4. You keep ignoring all my points of the damage to the image of the game, despite the fact you yourself used them for nubia with dlm (#general message) and should at least be coherent. They were preparing a launch, the time to build a base, and they pulled this dumb stunt that "impacts public perception that the company is adding undesirable picks to the game and turns people away".

new bugs bunny tech discovery:::: ARSBH (Aerial Rocketless Side B Hover) I found a post on reddit of somebody using this technique, and i decided to look into into it in training mode. after some trial and error, i learned how to do it. this tech provides great mixup utility with it being able to be used after any move in the air as long as you have airdodges. Many have gatekept this tech for a while, but with a game this dead why even bother? Figured id teach everyone now instead of gatekeeping it for another month until the games shut down. HOW TO PERFORM TECH There are multiple ways of performing this tech, and i will go over each method. Instant ARSBH - From any state in which you are airborne, time a side b without rocket as soon as youre about to collide with the ground and let go of side b. if done correctly, bugs bunny should stop moving, and you should be able to tilt your joystick in a direction to move him. Shortened ARSBH - From any state in which you are airborne, almost BEFORE you are going to hit the ground do a side b. you shouldnt be as close as you were when doing the previous version mentioned, but you should be slightly higher. let go of the input. bugs bunny should stop moving and you should be able to control the side b. Airdodge ARSBH - Perform an airdodge close to the ground, almost like a wavedash, but not fully interacting with the ground. you want your airdodge to be just barely touching the ground. Perform a side b and let go of the input. Bugs bunny should stop moving, and you should be able to control his side b for a short period of time. POSSIBLE MISTAKES - If you are not getting this tech, there are some things you could be messing up. PERFORMING THE AERIAL ROCKETLESS SIDE B TOO LATE. If you get a grounded side b (Ain't I A Charmer), instead of an aerial side b, youre performing inputs too late. PERFORMING ARSB Too early. If you simply get the Aerial Rocketless Side B and Bugs Buny continues his forward momentum after, youre too late
