Almost all jabs are true combo. There are very few that are avoidable on the last hit (a couple of them, like Raven's or Aquaman's are input dependant, while the others leave a very slim window to dodge, and that usually works only on low percentages. Roughly, at 19%+ every jab is a true combo).

That being said, a string combo derivating from a jab (that is, not completing the jab, but branching to a directional normal input or special) is usually avoidable, unless you're 70%+

Rifts became less of a grind and stopped forcing you to buy specific skins to complete them. They added Fighter Road specifically because players asked for it. Players couldnt decide if they wanted shields, or if the game should be faster
