I think the problem is that it’s essentially a 1v1 or a 2v2 game. Unlike fps games, there are not many players or other factors that shift the game into one side heavily, and thus it’s more easier and impactful to see why you lost a game, and with how the game wins are 50/50, that’s gonna be very tough to find no one complain about

It’s essentially putting 2-4 people in an arena, not those 16v16 games on a huge map where there is an objective besides killing enemies

There are going to be more impactful details when you win or lose that 1v1/2v2

Yeah, but I think that’s the problem with how big the game got at beta launch. If it’s a game with a smaller playerbase, then it would be easier to implement stuff that isn’t beginner friendly so that people actually have to put time to learning. MVS got many people and eyes on the game, so it made the choice to make sure it catered to all the people playing it, including the younger and inexperienced ones unfamiliar with the fighting game genre
