The only two things that needs a nerf on Jack unironically is side specials hitbox hitting from behind and MAYBE his jab.

He has some of the worst whiff in the game, spacing Jack is literally all you have to do.
His Jab is also slower than 70% of the cast so you can just out jab him if you know how to read people.
And since Jacks jab is one of his strongest tools its not exactly that hard to read when hes going for it

I play as Jason and when you fight against a Jack it just sumarizes in "learn to dodge"

A Lot of people complain about his side special but its extremely easy to Dodge You can Even use the sound he makes before using it at your favor like You can literally use the sound cue and yet people argue about it being broken

And You can also Dodge the fully concentrated side special midstage the only way he can hit You midstage using that is if he use it in a combi

In jasons case You can use rage mode to counter him or with any character when he tries to use it jump and stay in the air until he does the 4 hits to punish him

You can't spam side special at all

If You get side spammed then thats a skill issue

I'm ngl- it's extremely sweaty once you get to diamond range, especially with the mmr based matchmaking and point system. I had about a 70% winrate just to make it there today- and there's a few characters that can just touch of death you. Playing Jack with almost 500 wins to get there taught me a lot of techs and tricks to help me along the way- but in those last few tiers I had to play a bit dirtier with cheese
